1) the fact than an offer may be unprecedented, does not prove that it is unfair

2) want proof? if GBP offered lil'G 50mil, Tom Loeffler would deem that offer to be "fair"..... so your premise above is flawed logic

exactly..thats just what i was thinking,he said it more than once,...he has to realize that at the end of the day this is a business....if golovkin in smart he'll take the fight and if he wins he will make more and imagine if there was a rematch and he won?..with next fights after that he will be set for life,,,i think for him 75/25 is fair..he will help sell but at the end of the day canelo fighting nobodies does 300k..ggg does less than half..so 75/25 is what i would offer and say take it or leave it,no more negociating,it's that or nothing so let us know so we can move on

You're logic is grade school level buddy. Doesn't matter that it's projected to be the biggest fight of the year. The biggest fight could be Mayweather vs a heavyweight. Doesn't mean that heavyweight deserves 35% of the purse.

This is the exact same thing as pricing yourelf out of a fight, except hes the A side so hes lowballing ggg knowing that any logical businessman would want a fair percentage split. On the other hand though canelo is the A side and a bona fide ppv star which Ggg is not. In addition, who else could ggg fight that he could make anywhere near 10 million? Maybe nobody. Plus if he beats Canelo and especially knocks him out which I think there is a good chance then ggg will be the big dog in boxing and be right where canelo is. Ggg has to take this fight not just to help his career which it cetainly will but also to help the sport of boxing which has been hurt bad by Al Haymon and all his mismatches. If ggg walks away from 10 million and goes and keeps fighting for 2 million hes lost me as a fan and i hope he loses all his fans. There are people herewho stick by their favorite foghters no matter what but i think if your favorite fighter acts dishonorable then why should they be respected?

Well genius,,, that's why they do a purse split... Like 65/35.

Makes 100 million,,, Canelo gets 65 mil and ggg gets 35...
Fight does 10 million, Canelo gets 6.5 and ggg gets 3.5....

No one knows exactly how much the fight will make that's why they use a variable purse split model...
