He lost first fight he lost his bargaining power for rematch that fight would be on canelo terms or no fight at all, this what triple g can do his team can hold out and try get a better deal but gb seems firm on offer so call they bluff in June/July accept offer knock him off and hold all the cards for a rematch fight

Here is how dumb you are....you just said Alvarez Cotto rematch would do similar revenue to Alvarez Golovkin. So explain to everyone else how 10M plus upside isn't a legit offer when the A side of Cotto Alvarez got 15M.

Because cotto gives 2 shyts about taking a fight unless he is well paid.. Cotto is at the stage of his career where he can pick and choose.. He totally bent over canelo the first time,will bend canelo over again because cotto is the only foght that canelo could take instead of the ggg fight and not take flack... Cotto knows that canelo needs him as a legit reason to avoid ggg, and he will make canelo pay just like he did the first time..

Cotto has absolutely no need to take a canelo rematch unless he gets paid handsomely... The guy could never fight again and be set for life, he really has no need for canelo... Canelo needs him to have a legit fight instead of fighting ggg
