and the fact remains..... Golovkin COULD have agreed to fight Canelo for 10mil, but he CHOSE not to

Team Golovkin just admitted that they are not prepared to have Gennady exposed for the paltry sum of 10mil LMAO

pretty sure, that Canelo will be Golovkin's cash-out fight

You do realize that ppv upside and percentage based negotiation are different. Again...DLH said that Trip doesn't sell...which he doesn't. So how was he wrong? Sure it would be the highest revenue fight in boxing...but how much would that be exactly? If the flat fee plus upside gets Trip approximately 30% of the revenue, what's the problem? Trip would have to fight 3-5 times to make 10M. Alvarez needs only to fight 1-2 times to make 20M. Not seeing where K2 leverage comes from.

Sooo how much is this fight gonna make? How many ppvs? How much revenue? How can you argue that Trip deserves to make almost just as much as Alvarez when Alvarez is the money maker. He is the draw.

                  Lmao...

Canelo hardly a huge draw... Let's not act like this dude is manny or floyd...

Couldn't break 900k vs cotto.. Even though it was the biggest fight to make and cotto drew well over 1.2 mil with both floyd n manny... Hell marquez vs cotto would do nearly as well as cotto/Canelo...

Really only bring 300k vs any other opponent..

Canelo isn't making 20 million by fighting angulo and kirkland.. I don't know where you think Canelo makes 20 million in 2 fights without fighting another star..

Fanboys so overprotective of Canelo... Just give ggg a reasonable split instead of the flat fee and make the fight...

Please name the fighter in the biggest fight of the year that took a flat fee???

Well genius,,, that's why they do a purse split... Like 65/35.

Makes 100 million,,, Canelo gets 65 mil and ggg gets 35...
Fight does 10 million, Canelo gets 6.5 and ggg gets 3.5....

No one knows exactly how much the fight will make that's why they use a variable purse split model...

Taking a flat fee is beyond ****** and has never been done for the biggest fight of the year....
