I'm pretty much over it until GGG wants to move up because Ward isn't coming down. I'm not saying that GGG should move up to fight Ward, but considering how RJJ went out, I understand why he won't move back down to 168 for a GGG fight, especially since the fight was already offered at that weight previously. Whenever the fight is more plausible for both boxers is when I will give it more attention. Until then, we are all trapped in conversation on a potentially great fight that may not ever happen... which is
Thats the cold, hard truth. I know, it's not easy to digest but do keep trying.

He was willing to make a fight with GGG at 168 & now says only at 175. Yet some still will use this as Gennady not willing to make the fight? GGG offered at a catch weight of 164 & everyone knows that if that fight is ever to happen it will now have to be at 168 or higher CW. 175 will never be realistic for GGG. Ward knows this & is simply trying to use his size as an advantage. I don't blame him, but it's still the same as critics made of GGG vs Brook & actually worse, more like Canelo vs Khan. Ward will have to give up something to make this fight, plain & simple...just as Golovkin would. Don't really see either side at fault here, but the scales definitely have always tipped towards Ward not being the one to give in a little.

This fight will always be talked about because it's a potential great match-up, something that may still happen a couple of years down the road. If Golovkin's star continues to climb & he eventually moves up to 168 the pressure & questions will only continue to be asked...until Ward gives in.
You mean like Golovkin is giving concessions to Jacobs on the purse?

The time frame matters here, and you are ignoring it. GGG wasn't trying to make fights with Froch or Chavez Jnr in the summer of this year, which was when Ward wanted him to move up to 168.

Loeffler made a statement in reply to a hypothetical question about fighting Froch, saying they wouldn't ask him for a catchweight "out of respect for his huge fan base in the UK" ($$$$) But that was as far as it went.

            U

            K2 said they'd consider it in 2017

In that year and a half they've had Gennady fight

            Lemiuex
            Monroe
            Wade
            Brook

Why get Gennady fights to establish himself as the best in the sport when you can run through this list of killers

            F.uck K2 sucks from a fan perspective

Dang, he's fighting the baddest man at 175 and they still asking him about a guy who only wanted to fight Froch & Chavez Jr at 168. But these same media members never ask GGG about fighting Ward smh.
