I keep saying ****, haterz keep saying I'm wrong, but I keep turning out to be 100% right. You can call names with no facts to back it up, which is called an ad hominem fallacy, but you really can't say **** because everything I say is backed up 100%.

Gilberto Mendoza Jr., president of the WBA, told ESPN.com that there has been discussion by the Jacobs side of a possible interim bout before facing Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs), although Golovkin does not want an interim fight. He wants to do the mandatory fight with Jacobs (32-1, 29 KOs) as soon as possible, especially because it is such an attractive fight.

It's all right there. Now we find out if you're a boxing fan, or a racially biased hater. Danny Jacobs wants to keep ducking GGG, and prevent the fans like you from seeing a great fight until next year at the earliest. GGG, on the other hand, is fighting for the fans. He is pushing to give you a great fight as soon as possible. Even with the WBA offer to let him delay his mandatory and fight anyone he wants, he rejected that offer and says he still wants to fight the guy who would be the best fight for the fans, even when he could fight anyone, even when the negotiation is difficult because of Haymon and Jacobs reluctance to fight the best.

Now I understand, and you're right, Golovkin's team has shifted their stance in a number of areas and it is frustrating to see his potential fading. Obviously the 'we fight anyone from 154-168 thing' is a myth but I don't have much of an issue with that as long as he tries to make the best fights at middleweight. When he fails to do that, it becomes difficult to follow or understand what he or his team are doing. I do think that some fighters have avoided him in the past, especially early on in his career, though he too has probably made some calculated decisions that have prevented fights from happening.

I think each of these fighters try to make fights based on what is in their own best interest, which is understandable. The problem is when fighters use that as an excuse to hide behind their unwillingness to challenge themselves in the hope that they will glide their way to a huge payday.

I agree that to be called a great fighter you must defeat a great fighter and it seems hardly any fighters these days are striving to be great. Though Golovkin is not the worst offender (he is at least active and makes defenses), his inability to get any big fights is frustrating.

Loeffler just asked the WBA to force a purse bid early only for the WBA to tell him to quit acting like a little queef and to continue to negotiate the fight by issuing an extension. He is trying to force a purse bid so that Jacobs only gets 25% instead of sitting with the reasonable Haymon and hammering out a deal like an adult. You don't see Hearn acting this way while negotiating with Klits handlers. Thats because Hearn is trying to get Klit-Joshua made. When you are trying to get a deal done you don't go cry to the WBA for a purse bid.

Good points. Boxing has become more business than anything else. And as you say GGG has tried to be active given the opposition willing to face him. Jacobs would be a good choice but the way it looks I'm not sure it will happen. I don't know why Jacobs won't take a 75/25 split. He gets an Otoplasty thrown in with the purse.
