They are negotiating with America's best MW in America and telling him to take 25% or no deal? Its absolutely feckless and just shows the cowardice that dwells in the heart of Grovelkin. These Golovtwats complain and demand GGG get a 50-50 split with Canelo and then act like their pathetic hero isn't outright avoiding Jacobs. Its obvious to anyone that Loeffler is trying to protect his old slow puncher from the beating Jacobs will give him.
Golovkin is more than just a puncher. He cuts the ring, shifts, has excellent timing and great awareness of maintaining proper punching distance. He punches hard enough to pose some challenging questions of Jacobs suspect chin. I think the fighter that can take the other punchers shots better wins. I really think thats Triple G but I sure wanna see it! Danny has speed and power. He also is more skilled than Lemieux. Golovkin has almost unified the division and I can't see a scenario where he would get stripped. It may take the WBA amending the purse split to 60-40 to get this fight made. I think GGG would certainly fight Jacobs before getting stripped.

First you claimed that Jacobs was offered about $3m before these negotiations started. (I'm assuming you meant that this was about true)

Next you said that for these negotiations a 25 or even 30% split (a purse bid would give Jacobs only 25%) would be lucky to be worth even 1.5m.

So therefore the offer given in these negotiations (about 1.5m) must be less than the offer of the previous negotiations (about 3m).

Is there any reason why it should be less this time? Just in case it still doesn't make sense just answer this, should Jacobs be getting offered more or less than he has been offered previously?
Ok lemme clear up your confusion:

When a mando is ordered, they get some time to negotiate it out, no set percentage. If no agreement, a closed envelope bid ordered, with standard split being 75/25. So they've negotiated for like 4 weeks, with original bid date in 3 days. It's 2 months to the TV date, for a fight Jacobs calls super megafight.

Golovkin is coming off a huge fight in the UK market and Jacobs has build himself back up nicely after that devastating Pirog KO. Both guys have momentum on their side and I think this fight produces fireworks. I was stoked about GGG-Lemieux. I'd be even more excited about a GGG-Jacobs showdown.
Jacobs probably has the best punchers chance of anyone at Mw. Including Canelo, though he probably lasts longer. But he's gotta have self belief, and none of these guys do when it comes to Ggg.

          3. He wasn't offered 25% dummy, that's what he's due if he keeps pricing himself out and it goes to purse bids
Loeffler just asked the WBA to force a purse bid early only for the WBA to tell him to quit acting like a little queef and to continue to negotiate the fight by issuing an extension. He is trying to force a purse bid so that Jacobs only gets 25% instead of sitting with the reasonable Haymon and hammering out a deal like an adult. You don't see Hearn acting this way while negotiating with Klits handlers. Thats because Hearn is trying to get Klit-Joshua made. When you are trying to get a deal done you don't go cry to the WBA for a purse bid.

It was supposed to go to purse bids Monday, dumba$$. This fight is in 2 months. Per Jacobs, it's a super megafight. Theyve negotiated for a month. Better get a move on. But how do you get agreement when the challenger is saying

‘Wait a second. I could fight two Peter Quillins and make the same thing.’

Recognizable? I watched Jacobs-Mora, there was no one there.

Lets be honest nobody wanted to see Jacobs-Mora 2. A lot of people were unenthusiatic about seeing that fight a second time. You put Jacobs in a fresh fight with an Andy Lee and its a different story. Obviously the Golovkin fight would generate a big attraction at the Barclays. Name a fight for either fighter not involving Canelo that generates more revenue in NY. These are the 2 best MWs at this particular time.

You're officially ******ed. The ESPN article says Mendoza "told ESPN" that the Jacobs side wanted an interim fight. Then you post an article by the LA Times saying ESPN got it from the LA Times. Man you are dumb. It literally says in the article Mendoza "told ESPN." Not LA Times told ESPN. Not Mendoza told LA Times. But "Mendoza told ESPN." The LA Times article with Pugmire is totally separate.

How many more ****ing times do I have to explain this to you and walk you through every single word like a small child before you understand this basic concept that Jacobs side tried to get an interim fight to duck GGG longer?

Gilberto Mendoza Jr., president of the WBA, told ESPN.com that there has been discussion by the Jacobs side of a possible interim bout before facing Golovkin
                    Oye.

Man. Man oh man. You are dumb. Man.

Ok I don't know if your dumb or just playing dumb. Your takeaway is, you have no idea what was offered. Simple enough?
