It's funny because the same argument folks used for Trip accepting a 75-25 split or the 10M plus PPV upside is now being used to argue why Jacobs should take the 75-25 split.

Two things to note. K2 broke even for the Lemieux fight. A Jacobs fight is bigger than the Lemieux fight. Even Loeffler said earlier this year that he believes it would do well in NY. With those two factoids alone, one can conclude that Jacobs deserves a bigger purse than Lemieux. Think about it, what looks better, winning the IBF belt won from a C level fighter or beating the #2 middleweight in the world. It makes the Alvarez and or Saunders fight bigger automatically. It's instant credibility from certain naysayers who say he has no resume.
