Loeffler must have accepted the possibility that Haymon might win the purse bid, otherwise he wouldn't have asked for it. I presume that HBO have given the go-ahead for GGG to fight on ST, if necessary.
... I think I'll laugh a lot when Showtime will put on the table what they consider to be the "right money" for Jacobs...
Mate, Loeffler just asked the WBA to call a purse bid. Clearly, they are ready and willing to fight. GGG has no responsibility to make Danny Jacobs rich, just to defend his belt against his mandatory challenger, which is what he is trying to do.
I ignored him long ago, he makes no sense all the time.
I don't think anyone is suprised. We knew Golovkin would duck Jacobs. Way too much of a risk. Loeffler knows Jacobs is worth more than 25% and they are purposely low balling him to avoid the fight. They are doing what they accused Canelo of doing when they said he would offer 2 million only to be exposed when GBP gave them 10 million. Grovelkin is a power punching scardy cat. The toughest camp to make fights with. If you aren't an easy fight they will not get a deal done. We have seen it over and over again repeatedly.
Ducking, just stop it.
It's Jacobs who said he wants more the is economical. He wants so much that either GGG has to take a huge pay cut or k2 would have to lose money.
K2 is supposed to make GGG money, not lose it.
Jacobs clearly is asking for too much. He doesn't have a huge fan base, and thinks just being a GGG opponent entitles him to ppv money.

I seriously doubt HBO would give green light on that, Jacobs can crack and if ggg was to lose on showtime without getting anything out of they investment and losing 3 belts to showtime killing Canelo fight even more would prob cause network to ban boxing for all of 2017 on network
