To be fair, the Sherdog guy said weeks ago that they agreed to a 70-30 split and everything else Team GGG asked for.

No but he'll be making decent money for less risky fights. Uncle Al would rather keep him winning then take an L and lose any marketability that he had.
If GGG was a bigger draw and could afford to pay his opponents good money he would get the fights he clearly wants. Right now he is just not in a good spot. He is a really good fighter but not a big star. Anyone with options doesn't need to fight him.

That's not true. What he IMMEDIATELY did was vacate his belt instead of defending it, and he only made the $10 million offer to GGG after his PPV with Smith flopped and Golovkin had made career high money for fighting Brook.
