you are correct..... but doing so, when you are WELL-AWARE that it will kill the fight, so your dividend will actually be 0..... means that YOU PASSED

there is no other logical way of looking at it

listen, I work in IT.... a major part of my job is to negotiate prices with vendors/suppliers

the fact is, I can ALWAYS screw someone down to get a better price..... by playing them off against each other, manipulating figures, etc..... I have been doing this for awhile now

to do that would be absurd, and could negatively impact my company..... because a mutually beneficial agreement is all about sustainability

so, I screwed them down in price, because they were desperate to get our business..... now they have a tiny profit margin, therefore no room to move on the exchange rate, now their support/service will be impacted as they attempt to juggle their internal resources..... now they will struggle to supply/service the numbers we need

and while this is going back and forth, it is consuming time/energy

we need our suppliers to be profitable, so that they are in a position to fulfuill/enhance their service/obligations to us...... lets say the worst happens and they go out of business, or fail to supply the agreed product.....

1) they go out of business, invalidating the warranty on all of the equipment we have purchased

2) I initiate legal action for breech of contract, possibly putting them out of business..... significantly impacting our ability to supply/service our customers...... which could have a catastrophic impact on my company

all I am saying is, you do not take advantage of somebody, just because you can..... good business is mutually beneficial, and sustainable..... like Team Golovkin mysteriously managed to do with Brook

Had a feeling this fight was far from a done deal. The money just isn't there to satisfy both fighters. HBO will not put this fight on PPV so its up to the network money and live gate and neither fighter has shown to bring in the big bucks there.
If I was a betting man I would say GGG will be fighting another lower tier middleweight on HBO in December.

That list is MUCH BETTER than the list of guys he actually fought.

Golovkin is a timid fighter, and his team have no faith in him to beat a world-class opponent, let alone Danny Jacobs.

It's a matter of assumption and how you deduce the quote.

You think the above, Daggum thinks he means double.
Personally i think he got offered about 2.5 and judging by his further remarks in that article about 8 figures, he was hoping for closer to 5/6
