Who is the "man that beat the man" in the MW division? In this world of ABC belts, and 4 or 5 guys claiming to be world champs, many consider the lineal champ to be THE champ at any weight class. Canelo should be stripped of the lineal title, and the winner of Golovkin-Jacobs should be declared the new lineal champion.

Smith was a career middleweight with a really ill-fated move to super middle where he has lost every fight to a top fighter.

He was then a ward opponent... At light heavy. That's even worse than picking Brook, who was a top welter. Smith was never ever spoken of as a top fighter.

PLus I don't get this victimisation of ward. The man is only just about to fight a top fighter after 4 or 5 years and yet is constantly spoken of highly.

Smith was coming off two title tries at 168 and also had been fighting at the weight since around 2008 and won the british 168 title in 2009

Gennady Golovkin asks for a lot of money to fight Canelo. Canelo's a coward.

Another example:
Ward wants Golovkin to move up one weight class. That's not fair, Golovkin is small.
Golovkin fights a WW at MW. That's fair, that WW is huge.
