Canelo did shame himself by calling GGG in the ring, etc. However, GGG does not get a pass from me for asking to fight Ward @ 164, but he'll fight Froch or Chavez Jr. @ 168! That's a bit*h move! Then GGG talked **** about Canelo fighting Khan @ 155, and turns around and fights Brook @ 160! That's more hypocrisy, yet people still give him a pass! Let's just hope he actually fights Jacobs next! Contracts are still not signed and I am getting worried! Of course, I bet it's all Haymon and Jacobs' fault!

Loeffler's remarks are clear examples of Team GGG's hypocrisy! "If you're still at 168 in 2017..." That article is 2015! So if Canelo had told GGG, "if you're still at 160 in 2017, we'll consider it at that point?" One guy was willing to "meet in the middle..." So I guess if Canelo said 155 or no fight, that would be ****ed up? Ward has proved his courage and his greatness. He's fighting Kovalev next! GGG has some things to prove before he's in the same conversation as Ward!Comment

both ward and smith were career supermiddleweights fighting over the limit
thats not the same as a guy fighting someone 13 pounds up
you know its not the same man
Brook was a welterweight who did nothing over 147 fighting the best 160 guy in the world
come on....stop reaching
you know ward would get trashed if he fought a middleweight instead of Kovalev
He was then a ward opponent... At light heavy. That's even worse than picking Brook, who was a top welter. Smith was never ever spoken of as a top fighter.
PLus I don't get this victimisation of ward. The man is only just about to fight a top fighter after 4 or 5 years and yet is constantly spoken of highly.
Let's just stop the ******ity.Comment

For one thing, Golovkin, since he stays active and stays in shape, will more than likely still be at 160 on 2017. For another, you're making an apples to oranges comparison by comparing the situation with Ward to that of Canelo. Ward and Golovkin are not in the same division so there would be a meet in the middle scenario. Canelo and Golovkin, on the other hand, were both champs in the same division (160). There is no "meet in the middle" between 160 and 160. Further, Canelo didn't even say "155 or no fight", he just said "no fight"Comment

So if Canelo, the 154 champ, now asks GGG, the 160 champ, to fight @ 157, you would say that's fair? Hell no! Every GGG fan in the world would be saying that Canelo is trying to drain GGG! Why is that GGG only had a catch-weight demand for Ward, and not Froch and Chavez Jr.? Because he knows that Ward was going to whip that azz! Ward, the SMW would have finished what Brook the WW couldn't!Comment

Canelo's staus was granted by Canelo's promoter. Canelo has no belts! In light of that fact, and the fact that you would not condone a catch-weight, i'll will now consider you and your idol GGG, both hypocrites!Comment

Ward didn't fight Barerra @ 168, he fought him @ 175. Yeah, I'd like to see GGG fight Barerra @ 175. GGG said he would fight Ramirez and DeGale, but has he done it? Hell the **** no! He said he would fight anyone from 154 to 168, but if asked for Ward at 164! He'll fight Floyd @ 154, but not Canelo @ 155! GGG says a lot, but yet he still fought Dominic Wade and Kell Brook in 2016! Ward is fighting Kovalev...at 175...no catch-weight! That tells you all you need to know!
GGG hasn’t fought Ramirez/DeGale yet because his goal is to unify the middleweight division. Which part of that don’t you understand lol? Actually, CoWARD realized he couldn’t make 168 anymore which is why he called out GGG knowing full well he wouldn’t accept without unifying the 160 division first. It’s exactly the same ploy used by Canelo’s team to avoid fighting Golovkin with their “flat fee offer”. If GGG had accepted, CoWARD would’ve forced him to move up another few pounds to 172 like his fight against bum Smith.
As for Canelo, why should GGG weight drain himself to fight for a belt he’s the rightful owner of? It doesn’t make sense since there’s no 155 division only 160! Why should he give Canelo any advantage when the ginger one can easily make 155 yet walk into the ring 175 like he did against Khan but GGG can’t? GGG said the only fighter he’d drop down to 154 for is Mayweather and that’s purely financial. Even Canelo did that when he dropped to 152 and got a good spanking.
Btw you do realize Canelo’s only fought Khan & Smith in 2016 and ducked GGG lol.Comment

At the beginning of the Smith fight, Canelo was announced as the reigning Lineal Middleweight champion. That is undeniable, and unless Canelo is stripped of this status, and a new lineage established, then a catch is unacceptable. When that happens, I fully support a catch of 157. No hypocrisy hereComment
