What has Cotto/Pacquiao/Margarito got to do with GGG/Canelo? Absolutely nothing! Anyway, when GGG-Canelo fight it will be for ALL the middleweight belts so no catch weight is acceptable.

Yes I've checked Bumrerra's resume and he's fought NOBODY! If you knew anything about boxing you'd realize Wade was GGG's MANDATORY CHALLENGER so he had to fight him or he'd lose his belt!

Who is the "man that beat the man" in the MW division? In this world of ABC belts, and 4 or 5 guys claiming to be world champs, many consider the lineal champ to be THE champ at any weight class. Canelo should be stripped of the lineal title, and the winner of Golovkin-Jacobs should be declared the new lineal champion.

Is a MW fighting a top 3 WW really any worse than a LHW fighting a top 30 SMW?

PLus I don't get this victimisation of ward. The man is only just about to fight a top fighter after 4 or 5 years and yet is constantly spoken of highly.

              Let's just stop the ******ity.
Smith was coming off two title tries at 168 and also had been fighting at the weight since around 2008 and won the british 168 title in 2009

nice try....cant rewrite history when it doesnt fit your weak agenda

You know if billy joe sanders or Eubank was fighting Ward next, you'd have a heart attack and go all in on him

but since its your hero, you turn your head...bu bu bu the middleweights ducking doe....ok they ducking, then move up instead of fight a guy whose last fight was 13 pounds south.

Martin Murray lost to every world rated fighter he faced from 160-168....yet he is one of GGG's top 3-5 wins.....thats has to show you how pathetic his resume is....Martin Murray is a Euro level guy like smith.....they both could beat the best domestic level guys but lost to all the world level opposition

Smith isnt even in Wards top ten best wins lol...whereas Murray, a euro level guy is GGG's, one of his best wins.

Example of a contradiction and double standard:
A boxer asks for a lot of money to fight Gennady Golovkin. He's a coward.
Gennady Golovkin asks for a lot of money to fight Canelo. Canelo's a coward.

                    Another example:
Ward wants Golovkin to move up one weight class. That's not fair, Golovkin is small.
Golovkin fights a WW at MW. That's fair, that WW is huge.

Do you want me to keep going?
