Funny how people backing Canelo is acting like GGG's team is scared for not signing a deal they admit they want for the back end of 2017?

Goldenboy wanted a signed agreement because they know Canelo's PPV #s are getting lower and lower while GGG platform is becoming larger world wide. Canelo is losing leverage as his #s are going down.

I'm sure GGG's team is negotiating better terms since they think GGG will be a bigger name after a fight with Jacobs.

I think this fight will happen and all this talk is just to save face for dropping the belt and moving back down to the jr middleweight class.

That's the thing I wish more people were talking about. Kellerman gave him the hard question, & Canelo pined like an inexperienced teen. He even evoked "Viva la Mexico!"...i was truly dumbfounded by that response to Kellerman's question. Seriously, how come more people weren't talking about this? And i remember just looking at a smiling DLH right behind Canelo & thinking, "oh, this response is going to be scripted."

-He's been handed the WBA, WBC, and was basically handed the IBF belt.

-He's yet to fight anyone who was truly seen as a p4p-level fighter.

-his actual business is nowhere near as impressive as his fans want to claim.

hilarious to see the spin by clowns.
Selling out a stadium is still selling out that stadium...no matter how you want to spin it. It literally means GGG can draw big crowds when he fights...& more importantly, he can draw crowd wherever he fights.

And as a boxing fan, I find it extremely intimidating that a boxer can attain belts because world champions are too afraid to get in the ring with him. Never underestimate intimidation in combat sports. Mike Tyson is a prime example. I even remember all the buzz Tyson was getting in his prime just for winning the psychological battle before the fight. I'm not placing GGG on the same level of Tyson just yet. But damn is he heading in the right direction. Fans should be happy such a champion exists in our time.

The WBC from B-Hop losing to Taylor, Taylor losing to Pavlik, Paklik losing to Sergio Martinez. Who BECAME the WBC Emeritus champion And then the belt was given to Sebastian Zbik!!!

Then ZBik lost it to Chavez Jr. Who lost it BACK to Sergio, Sergio lost it to Cotto, Who lost it to Canelo, Who HANDED it over to GGG... After turning into CanYellow!

If I missed anything please forgive me???
Your wrong, some crooked facts you got there huh.

Whats worse is if GGG was rocked or struggled significantly in those fights, they would be considered "earned". But we don't respect domination, we question it.

Loeffler gave the diplomatic response because he wants to play nice long enough to get the fight. That much is obvious. And for you to say that he didn't accept when Loeffler clearly says that more negotiating is needed makes you seem like you're jumping to conclusions off of the words of someone who's lied often on this subject. Loeffler is clearly implying that the offer wasn't fair enough & wanted to hammer out the finer points of a contract. DLH making an offer versus sending a contract are two different things. If DLH said he sent them a contract & is waiting for a response, then I might be a little pissed at Loeffler. But that's not the case. Until more details are made, we have to assume the same thing before any of these offer talk was forwarded: and that is that Canelo ducked GGG because he's scared to fight him right now. Any other deviation from this would require the introduction of new useful information. To me, it just sounds like DLH is trying to take some of the heat off of Canelo...a pure distraction tactic.

The reality of it is, no matter what your opinion of resumes and title holding is, more people pay to see Alvarez than they do Golovkin. Significantly more.
This was true when Cotto faced him(900k), but that statement is becoming less and less true. Canelo has no moves to make here. There is no one at 154 and he can't make that weight, he got no one of value at 160 (except for Lemieux who I like).

The man is getting less and less buys and the opponents are getting worse. He'll have one belt at most if he fights Saunders and the cinnamon cunt can't move up to 168 because... well he just can't.

And all of Canelo's fights since the Lara fight have been mismatches.
His options are to go up to middleweight and be in GGG's shadow because we all know GGG is the best middleweight or to fight him for the belts and prove he will take on challenges.

Kirkland, Cotto, Khan and Smith are awful mismatches.

Jacobs is the fight at 160 I would like to see, if this fight comes off fans should be happy. I don't think Canelo's team is in a position to make a flat offer fee to Golovkin. Remember Floyd making a flat offer of $40m to Manny? How did that turn out. It needs to be a percentage split.

GGG's people need to at least acknowledge to GB the offer, and that they're considering it. And do a general press release to that effect. Keep the negotiating going. All this back n' forth is just static getting in the way. Just so we have a good fight between Canelo and his B-side GGG in Sept of next year, there should be no issue.
