No matter how fraudulent his reign was, Cotto was the WBC middleweight champion. So I think Cotto is a naturally bigger or more powerful guy than Brook. Brook hasn't operated at world level above 147.

I just think Canelo gets better with every fight and we've got this picture of the 'green' early twenty Canelo stuck in our heads. He definitely packs a punch.

The damaged was done to the orbital bone and not the orbit itself. Therefore, he should be just fine. In addition, his doctors has confirmed that once the swelling goes down he will have surgery and is expected to make a full recovery, so he can resume his boxing career.

Cotto fought at MW 3 times and 155 was the heaviest he came in at. The other 2 times he weighed in at 153. Brook was 159.5 for GGG and has been in the 150's, up to 155, many times early in his career.

Brook is naturally bigger than Cotto, significantly bigger. He's just very good at cutting weight when he needs to.

He doesn't pack a big punch against men his own size at 154 or 155.

If he stopped draining himself and started fighting as a true MW, 160, which is obviously where he belongs, things might be different. That's what his team should be advising him to do now, if they want to get the best out of him.

Canelo and Brook will both be coming off of a loss so I don't see the problem. But I'm sure goldenboy has a rematch clause in place so Canelo will be fighting Beefy again in May.

Lara moves 10 times better than Brook and has a great long reach jab, Canelo KO's Brook, guaranteed, I don't like this fight.

Brook stands his ground and doesn't run away like Lara and Khan. This makes Canelo's job easier. I would predict an early KO win for Canelo if this fight happens. I think he can take Brook's punches but Brook won't be able to take Canelo's punches.

He was going down, luckily for him hsi corner looked after him and stop that brutal beating.

EDIT: Brook ain't no damn Cotto, that's knowing boxing.

In your dreams. After Canelo beats the hell out of Beefy and knocks him out a rematch will be the last thing Beefy will be wanting. He will be wishing he had stayed in England and fought another safe opponent instead.
