No you are correct but who cares about belts anymore, its all about the money Canelo-Khan drew 600K PPV buys and that was a mismatch, Golovkin-Lemieux drew 97K-150K PPV buys that was a unifaction match with the two hardest hitting fighters from 168 and belowComment

The 164 offer made sense, a 50-50 split is generous but at that point Ward was probably out of the ring and was at 180, To him 164 sounded ridiculous especially when he was considering a move to 175.
The only arena Ward ever sold out was Oracle and thats because it's in his home town.Comment
