I'm not a GGG fan, but strongly believe you're correct.

Which leads me to believe that it won't happen as I don't think GGG can fight off HBO, i maybe wrong though. If they went the PPV route i'm sure it could sell better or at least as much as Lemuiex, but HBO would need to promote it with a 24/7 or something, which I don't see them doing
He can leave HBO for 1 fight. If HBO let's him of course...

Look at Pac! They're letting him fight Vargas. And they're making it clear Pac is not a free agent...If GGG or PAc tries fight a "Big Time" fight NOT on HBO and they want it! They'll be in the court room for YEARS! HBO will make sure if THEY don't get that Pac/Floyd 2 fight or GGG/Canelo then no one will.

Huh, do you know how fights GGG had in the amateurs, and to his 30 plus pro fights. I think Jacobs has not seen a chin like GGG.

They way I see it, Quillin was considered a better fighter than anyone of GayLoveKins previous opponents. Jacobs smoked him in 1 round and thus has the big win over a better opponent, thus Jacobs can make demands like that because his own power can help market this fight.

If this fight goes to purse bid, to get Jacobs at least $2 million, Haymon would have to bid $8 million. Do you really think thats going to happen?
He fought Sergio freaking Mora, of course he is gonna take a paycut for that fight, his own kid wasn't even interested to see that crap.

I don't see anyone bidding 8 mil for the fight. What i can see happening is it going to a purse bid and Haymon winning it just to see if GGG would drop the belt if HBO tries to say he can't fight on another network due to his contract

GGG should just stick to fighting BUMS!!! He WON'T pay over $1.5 and his fans don't mind seeing him fight Tomato Cans!!!

Stick to paying $500K fighting BUMS and ACTING like fighters are SCARED.

K2 acts like their HIGH ROLLER'S at the tables betting $5 MAX. They'll get those type of fighters and GGG FANS won't MIND.
