The reality is, GGG isn't being held hostage in the middleweight division because Saunders, Canelo, or anybody else won't fight him. If unification is his goal. There's no rule that says he can't look outside of the top guys in his divsion while he's waiting. And return to 60 when the opportunity presents itself. He was willing to look down two divisions for Brook. In a fight that did absolutely nothing for his legacy. He should be just as willing to look up the scale. If he plans on fighting in November. Why not try and snatch a belt at 68 if he doesn't get one of the guys he wants? He can always drop back to 60 when he's done. Win or lose.

I've been saying this too! The reality is he wants everyone to come to him except bigger money fights such as Froch or ****vez at 168, but they are lower risk, higher reward. Froch was older and passed it, ****vez has now lost twice, neither guy moves well. Jack, Degale, etc have good legs and movement. GayLoveKin IS a pu$$y, all there is to it.

Good for him, it would be another fight i wouldn't have watched. I will say this though, with the trend of fighters not willing to fight GGG they would be more willing to fight Jacobs. He'll have less of a hard time trying to secure opponents

I don't see anyone bidding 8 mil for the fight. What i can see happening is it going to a purse bid and Haymon winning it just to see if GGG would drop the belt if HBO tries to say he can't fight on another network due to his contract

The problem is that a $6 million bid only gets Jacobs $1.5 million, which guys like you think he should decline and vacate his title.

I'm on the minority who don't like this fight or sees it competitive at all.

I can't tell for sure, but in what I've seen so far Lemieux punches harder than Jacobs, and Lemieux has a better chin than Jacobs.

Can't count Danny out because he's got good skillz and good speed, but to be honest I see Golovkin stopping Danny quicker than Lemieux.

Just my humble Opinion.

I'd love that GGG vs BJS to finally get the last belt and seek better challenges @168.

Jacobs is basically irrelevant when it comes to popularity or being a household name, USA or worldwide does not matter.

Even when Jacobs is fighting and GGG is on vacation GGG generates way more interest/traffic.

Degale moves ok, but he takes time off and loses focus.

K2 already said they'd do it if offer is right. But no, GGG is done taking low money at this point.
