P4P is just about who you think is the best fighter in the world regardless of weight, nothing to do with certain styles or ways of fighting.

His D only really looked bad after he gassed last night to be honest. Before that Cuadras was struggling to land cleanly at all, despite RG being in front of him the majority of the time

      This ^

Floyd moved 4 weight classes, from 130 - 154, that's 24 lbs. Gonzalez has barely gone up 10!

Cuadras is simply sloppy himself, he loops punches, don't set his feet, flails, has no right hand, crosses his footing etc....considering all the technical mistakes Cuadras made Gonzalez should of taken advantage of it more! Gonzalez defense is not responsible for Cuadras lack of accuracy, he can't punch straight when he constantly retreating anyway!

He's moved up more in physical weight than Kovalev (0lbs), Ward (7lbs), GGG (0lbs), Lomachenko (4lbs), Crawford (5lbs), Alvarez (8lbs) etc etc. And thats despite the difference being a bigger % of his overall weight.

Maybe the individual weight jumps arent that impressive in comparison, but he still in his 4th weight class. If he can beat Inuoe it will be his 3rd lineal championship.

We arent comparing him to P4P fighters of the past, only the guys in the top 10 now.

Cuadras is very skilled and naturally much larger, that is clear to see.

This is looking like a troll thread tbh

He also loses way to many rounds and takes too many punches to be p4p. Aren't top p4p guys suppose to have great defense? Gonzalez only adjustment is to walk forward faster and throw more punches. Cuadras in my opinion should of earned a draw, he did enough to keep his belt, what happened to the unwritten rule "you have to beat the champion" not just compete with him to take the title?

If Ward or Floyd looked that sloppy, took that many punches, or had a face swollen to that degree they'd drop from the top spot in a heartbeat! What's with all the HBO and fan empathy for Gonzalez, he is not the best, just accept reality and take his name out that top 5.

Chocolate head is probably the most overrated fighter in the boxing industry today
Moving up 2lbs and beating some guy nobodys ever heard up isnt P4P worthy

I agree . Cuadras was world champion with 37 fight 28 knockouts and defended the title 6 times . No skills ??? By the way I was at the Forum last night and all the Nicaraguan fans looked Super nervous before the decision was read .

Seriously you about to tell me that Cuadras fought a technically proficient fight against Gonzalez? That guy made a ton of mistakes every round, that was clear and obvious to see

With that said I think he earned a draw, Gonzalez was even less impressive

Well obviously he made mistakes otherwise RG wouldnt have been able to hit him.

No ones claiming he is Floyd Mayweather.
