Mcwilliams maybe should have beat Ruenroeng,so he was clearly worthy of being at the top of the division. This statement doesn't make any since, and that's before you consider just how badly Ruenroeng was embarrassed by amateurs.Viloria was past his best but no way was he shot, you can see that pretty clearly in his fights. Gonzalez wrecked him anyway so I dont see how it marks against him.

What difference does that make? He was top 3 in the division when Arroyo fought him and arguably beat him. So Arroyo is a worthy top5 contender.
All the pros who went to the olympics got embarrassed. Its a different sportComment

I don't recall any of the other pros being knocked out, it definitely doesn't say good things about that guy being at the top of the food chain in any division.Comment

It always surprises me just how many people on this site, a site for hardcore boxing fans, have no idea what the hell actually happens in the ring. Whether it's bias or ignorance, I have no idea.Comment

Chocalito had a lot to overcome in that fight. Height, reach, weight. Even Floyd had struggles with Oscar, Maidana and Castillo. I thought it was a closer fight...115-113 for Chocalito, but he clearly got really tired and took some big shots often, like Sugar Ray did against Duran in their first fight. However, he adjusted to Cuadras rapid fire attacks in the later rounds by changing the combinations he used and that gave him the edge. He's maybe not in the top three PFP right now 4 or 5 maybe, but there's still time.Gonzalez has not just looked bad in this fight but like his last 3, he has been exposed and shown to be a limited come forward brawler in several contest. One thing a P4P #1 is suppose to be able to do is make adjustments, did anyone see any Gonzalez make adjustments last night, he did the same **** from round 1 to 12.
He also loses way to many rounds and takes too many punches to be p4p. Aren't top p4p guys suppose to have great defense? Gonzalez only adjustment is to walk forward faster and throw more punches. Cuadras in my opinion should of earned a draw, he did enough to keep his belt, what happened to the unwritten rule "you have to beat the champion" not just compete with him to take the title?
If Ward or Floyd looked that sloppy, took that many punches, or had a face swollen to that degree they'd drop from the top spot in a heartbeat! What's with all the HBO and fan empathy for Gonzalez, he is not the best, just accept reality and take his name out that top 5.Comment
