Several wins over top 5 opposition and not a top 5 p4p?

What is P4P exactly? Because if this guy isn't a top 5 P4P it certainly has **** all to do with resumes, skillsets or accomplishments.
    Exactly.

He was coming off three straight wins over universally rated top ten flyweights, and had faced four in his last seven, and goes straight at no worse than #2 in his next class. Go look how many belt holders in the sport right now have faced four straight guys rated top ten in their division in Ring or TBRB. But some dudes are like "he hasn't fought anyone in four years."

Morons gonna' moron. Even had a poll going to try to drum up controversy but about 70% thought Roman won last night...because he did.

Everyone expects a number one p4p guy to win every fight flawlessly. Boxers take punches. It happens. Gonzalez won 8-4 easy. He was the aggressor which gave him the edge in scoring as it often does. Cuadras gave a great effort and made him look bad at times. Well, let's see. Cuadras was 35-0-1 coming in as a champion at a higher weight than Gonzalez had ever fought at before. It doesn't mean Gonzalez is not elite. It means he's being tested which is the real criteria for being a great fighter and making history.

So many knee jerk reactions on this site.

In his last 2 fights he's fought like a relentless pressure fighter who's looking for a ko. It's not his best look. He didn't even feel cuadras out and went in on him like he was gonna blow him out. He deserved to take all those shots and gas out if he's gonna approach a fight like that.
