So? Maidanas bets win is Adrien Broner.

I'm just using your logic. No one dropped May out of the p4p lists for that.

Defence isnt the only thing that makes a great fighter.

His D is very good for his style, but i agree he takes too many shots.

However he has the most dynamic and beautiful offensive game in the world. Maybe not as destructive as GGG or Kovalev, but much more technical. He really has everything going forward, the technique, combinations, counters, he sets traps, his footwork is sensational, his chin is great and he obviously has natural power relative to his size.

Last night was the first time i thought he looked really small in the ring, and it showed as the fight went on, the extra effort he had to put in took it out of him. He still came out a comfortable winner in his first fight at a new weight vs a prime, undefeated, skilled opponent.

I think he may lose to Inuoe, but its still a great great fight.

Gonzalez is an HBO matchup type fighter, if they mess up and put him in with the wrong guy it's over!

Lol true. It's obvious he's not going to look as good going up in weight to fight a top guy. He did so and clearly won. Yea he got bruised up but that's what happens when u challenge your self. Same thing is going to happen to Lomachenko. He will step up in class and not look as good. But he will likely win. Unless of course it's rigo

Choco did not take any tune up at the weight, he outboxed a very dangerous undefeated at the time and boxing gold medalist.
Why do people act as if he moved up some extreme amount in weight? He's moving up two to three lbs at a time, absolute nonsense. Their are guys in higher weight classes, that give up more than that, while fighting guys in their same division.

I disagree.... defense is what makes p4p fighters a cut above the rest. Floyd, Ward, Hopkins, Crawford, Loma, Jones, what do they do, they hit and don't get hit! They stick and move, Bob and weave, use all the skills that boxers are suppose to learn and master. In my opinion defense is absolutely what makes the best fighters top P4P
