I keep saying, salary cap. A salary cap based off a fighters rankings. Take maybe the rankings from 2 or 3 organizations and average them out and pay the fighters based off or theis average rankings. They should just get a flat rate for a fight and if you are champion, you fight for additional money. If you have muliple belts, you fight for even more money. Make some incentives for the top fighters to fight each other and even greater incentives for the champions to fight to reunify. Its crazy that as a fan of Mayweather, I feel that it's wrong that he can come out of retirement and fight another fighter who does not have a belt, like Khan for example, and they both would make way more money than two fighters who are putting their belts on the line to unify or two top 5 fighters like Kov and Ward. If it's a ppv, give the fighters a small percentage, not based off of their fan appeal, but off of their rankings. Just think about basketball for a minute. When Yao Ming was playing, he was one of the, if not the most popular player in the world for a few years. If his salary was based off of his popularity, he would have been the highest paid player in the league. Just my 2 cents.

Broner did nothing to deserve the fight with pac and he still turned down a career high payday by far. Im glad the ****** didnr get the fight vargas deserved it more by knocking out ali and actually earning the shot instead of flabbing his gums which is the only thing broner has done. Plus hes not an exciting fighter vargas is alot more exciting to watch. Every time broker stepped up at 147 he got beat down. His marquee win is a split decision over festger fist paulie malignaggi which he probably should have lost lolComment

i don't like broner, but arum is a idiot. he knows that pacquiao is on his way out and will lowball any super star fighter so the pac can have the lions share. pacs getting that anyway but arum needs to fill his pocketsComment

Even if Arum did lowball Broner, it still almost assuredly would've been the biggest payday that would exist out there for him outside of Floyd coming out of retirement to fight him.
If he truly had any confidence in winning a fight with Pacquiao then he should've jumped at the opportunity.Comment

Floyd knew he would be Gatti. Broner knows he wont be Pac. Gotta win to get this so called A-side crap. Another plague left behind by Floyd that hurts the sport, along with becoming basically irrelevant after a loss. Broner is gonna do what he thinks is best, few more losses and we wont see him anymore. Hes taking winnable fights for the time being.Fighters like Broner don't remember when Floyd was the B-side. They should look at how Floyd handled himself when he was the b-side vs. Arturo Gatti. Take the fight, give 'em that work, and keep it movin'! That was a really dumb move, and now he's calling out Burns! Turn down Pac for a shot at Burns? Really?Comment

Yea something has to give. Only problem is fighters will just not fight and protest type deal. Its ridiculous tho how this sport is being ran. But hey if boxing is in need of some scabs id jump in the ring for 10 or 15k. lolI keep saying, salary cap. A salary cap based off a fighters rankings.
