If he was legit only offered $2M than I understand his side better for sure.

That said there is still some debate to be had that when you get a good situation like this vs Manny getting short money is acceptable, because there is a bigger upside in the future potentially. Its sorta like taking a internship at a great company that only hires from their intern pool. Sure you are making no money for several months, but if you are a valuable commodity for that company it'll all work out for the best for you.

I do say there is only a debate to be had cuz I understand there is another argument to be had that due to the dangers of boxing one should get their value every time out regardless of anything else cuz your next fight could always be your last fight.

Arum makes superstars thats why they sign with top rank. 50 yrs as a promoter, how many years has haymondbeen promoting (advisor). If Bradley and Pacman were getting screw they wouldnt be with top rank. What did Haymon do with Chavez Jr? PBC fighters are spoiled. Such a good roster being wasted.

AB brother either did not get a good advice from either his manager nor dad nor uncle haymon or he gone dumbo, pacquiao is ripe for the taking, anytime from now father time may hit him hard and broner could miraculously win; and he has nothing to lose anyway because he already lost a couple of times and losing to someone like pacquiao is nothing worse than being humped by maidana or sonned by porter plus you got that big payday to boot.

Other than getting a revenge boner by seeing Pacquiao beat up a loud mouth black guy, what is appealing about this fight? Broner has done nothing to deserve a fight with Pacquiao. Vargas has. Thurman has but Arum didn't want that fight.

1st I don't think AB can beat Manny. 2nd none of us know what he was offered. Considering Arum wanted Manny to take less for his fights going forward I think it only logical to assume his opponent's would be offered less than the 4 million seemed to be standard for past opponent prior to FMJ fight. Also should AB do what I think he can't and beat Manny, chances are he'll get more hate and more of the same 1-2 million dollar fight like he gets now because JMM Damn sure did not see any higher purses after he KO'd Manny. He could not even get a 50-50 split to fight Manny for a 5th time. So why do people think AB fighting Manny is the road to riches for him is beyond me

4 million plus ppv upside was what top rank offered but thats before haymon's cut. These haymon guys like broner really know what they worth so they take riskier fights like shawn porter for 1.5million and lose than a chance to make more than double that plus his career would blow up if he beats pacman. Really great businessman lololol

PBC was never going to be able to continue to pay their fighters the amount of money they were paying them early on. I think the fighters were under the assumption that if they got $1M, they were going to get the same amount, or maybe even more, a year later. That's just not how it works. You can't pay every fighter on your roster $1M. They had more money to spend early on to build the brand and get fans interested. Now that they're more established, you'll notice that the money isn't the same.

They're having issues putting together Garcia vs. Berto and Broner wants more money to face Pac.
This was one of the things that was obvious from the beginning. Uncle Hymie was using inflated pay days to lock fighters into contracts but there was no way he could afford to pay all of his boxers those inflated salaries.

Once they are locked into the contracts though, you don't like the pay, then you can collect dust on the shelf.

I can't agree more! People have so much hate for Arum, they turn a blind eye to what's going on with PBC. Give Arum the roster Haymon has, Arum would put these fights together. None of those PBC fighters want to face each other except Porter. HBO & Showtime are not paying huge salaries for BS fights anymore. That was the main reason HBO stop doing business with Haymon. None of Haymon fighters are worth paying over 1.5 mill per fight except Floyd. All this 3 mil plus talk for a fight is bogus! Thurman/Porter got around 1.5 mil each. Jacobs/Quillon recovered the same! Those were 4 of the top 8 fighters Haymon has. Haymon guys want 1mil plus for fighting TBA's! Arum knows how to make stars. Bradley has made a killing with Arum but people thinks he should sign with Haymon! Why? Please tell me what is Haymon doing with the roster he has now? Where are the big fights? Only one, Thurman/Porter!
