It'd be shit if none of those guys fought again this year.

What about Schaefer's promotional company backed by Chinese money?

aRE these guys real boxing fans? are they living vicariously through the boxers or promoters? whats their deal on money?
I think this has been the most eye opening thing for me.

PBC has exposed that a large percentage of these so-called 'boxing fans' don't actually want 'more boxing'. They don't care enough about this sport to really have to 'find' fights across multiple platforms (like most of grew up doing). They don't have a real interest in following young up and comers go through the development stages before they become stars or their older former favorites still competing at a high level. They actually don't really care for 'boxing' as a sport at all.

Seriously, think about those early complaints about PBC. At a time when championship level boxing was being presented to you on a dayum near weekly basis, you had actual so-called 'boxing fans' b!tching about ring entrance music, not being able to see ring girls, having a 'dump button' for potential cursing in the corner, and commercials.

Nah, what they REALLY want is more boxing as presented by HBO. They want MORE of HBO's self-serving 'narratives' around fights/fighters. They want to be told which fighters are worth watching instead of determining on their own. They don't want announcers who actually make them smarter fans by giving them real insight into in-ring adjustments and the actual fight. They want MORE HBO-style announcing where fighters/fights aren't judged by actually winning, but by 'performance' and 'drama'. They want MORE of announcers making themselves the show and openly disrespecting the fighters themselves.

These dudes have been sucking off that HBO boxing teat for so long that they can't separate the network presentation from the sport. It's the equivalent of someone saying they are a big time NFL fans, yet only watch Monday Night Football.

      It's level to this.

Omar Figueroa hasn't fought yet this year.
Lamont Peterson hasn't fought yet this year.
        Adonis Stevenson will fight once.
        Daniel Jacobs will fight once.
Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter will fight once.
        That's not a good thing.

It's already September so I don't see them fighting in November. Maybe December or early next year.

When do the paid for TV slots run out? What are the chances of them getting a deal with one of the companies they've been broadcasting on and when would it likely start?

They're not true boxing fans.....some are guys from the old era(fighters fight 10 times a year and end up brain dead no money or faculties) are bitter

Also some of these idiots want to see Haymon and PBC fold because of his affiliation with Mayweather and TMT.....Floyd and Haymon changed boxing forever and the kind of money fighters can make and the entire platform

I think some of these dudes are just jealous of these fighters or are bitter former fighters who were paid peanuts in the past

its sad because they are fighters but Im glad I cant stand to watch either of them. 1 is a cheat and the other has to be the most awful boxer in the sport at the primetime level

PBC sucks ass. All that money and the only really meaningful matchups on paper were LSC-Mares and Thurman-Porter. Showtime doesn't count.

More was expected thats why. People love(d) the HBO and even Showtime boxing platform more than what PBC is bringing. If PBC brought that to network television things would be great! Personally I thought boxing being on free TV meant boxing would get more exposure, I thought fighters would become stars again but it hasnt happened to 1. With all that $ Haymon has and what little money HBO has the most recognizable fighters still fight under HBO. I know PBC is still in its infancy BUT again with all that money I was hoping for a big CREATIVE push for the sport. More boxing is great, real fans enjoy watching boxing no matter what brand and enjoy up and comers but I dont care what people say, boxing fans all have a lil WWE fan in them and PBC has taken that out of the sport. Boxers are athletes first but they are also entertainers and the entertainment has left. Grant it there are good fights with knock outs but Klitchko used to KO people and look at his favor ability rating outside of Germany. Same concept goes for PBC, good athletes with no appeal, and a gain grant it some do have appeal but they are not marketed right and enough. Hell I bet if you were to take 100 people that didnt know **** about boxing show them an HBO advertisement for boxing between 2 bums and 1 for PBC with 2 champs, id bet my left nut that HBO is more appealing. Haymon would be doing himself favors if he got his fighters in commercials that broadcast throughout the day and on corny shows like dancing with the stars. Set his fighters up with celebrity dates, hell even put out a damn SEX TAPE!!! Again real boxing fans will always watch boxing but he isnt going to gain anymore by just putting fights on all the time, not in 2016.
