PBC will end up with the main content deal under the CBS/Viacom umbrella (CBS/Showtime/Spike/CBS Sports Network), will likely continue providing content for BounceTV and ESPN, and will likely keep influence over Toe-to-Toe Tuesday (if Haymon isn't providing the fights, "friends of Haymon", ie Schaefer or possibly Roc Nation, will likely provide talent for those dates).

If there are, they would have been announcing them by now. If there'll be announcements next month, fights will, of course, be held next year.

They can't, when it comes to boxing, Barclays and Stubhub are hot.

THE FIGHTERS DESERVE MONEY...A LOT MORE THAN THE SUITS!!!!! fans aren't in their taking any risks

why the hell are so many of you worried about how another person's pockets are lined?

These guys are very vocal about wanting to stay active but they're fighting one a year, twice at most if we're lucky.

I know Al has a big stable and it can't be easy handling over 200 fighters, but if the problem isn't cash, he's doing a terrible job keeping these guys active.

haymon's model is very different from most premium TV boxing matches. he buys time and makes money on ad revenue and a percentage of the purse he makes as an "advisor." it's not even clear what he's doing. but at any rate, he has to buy slots of time to put his fighters on TV. when you fight on HBO it is the other way around. HBO pays a flat fee to broadcast and archive the fight. promtors take that fee, and other revenue like gate and sponsorship money, and then they subtract the purse they give to fighters.

haymon technically isn't even a promotor. he uses lou dibella and others to act as a promotor.

maymon's investors may lose their shirts and he still may come out on top because of the fee he takes as an advisor. his PBC enterprise may flop, but if he gets the next floyd mayweather under contract and starts selling million ppv buy events that likely won't matter.

al haymon is not a dumb guy. he is not. we don't know the full story on this yet.

think of enron- it was a sham and a shell corportaion, but a lot of the executives still got paid huge bonuses and walked.
