Funny how Triple G fans talk about Wards weight ass if they have concrete proof of Ward not being able to make 168 yet they totally ignore the fact that Triple G's team wanted a catch weight or the fact that Sanchez is on video confirming that Ward was too high risk low reward.Comment

You add that Golovkin is literally getting none of the upside on the fight, and your numbers are silly.Comment

I did say I made an estimate. And those numbers don't include ppv buys and other sales. Not to mention that for sure GGG will get the bigger share of the income generated. I think this fight will generate a ton of money...and those monies will be distributed properly to each side. If we take that into account, then GGG and Brook could easily see over 6mil each. Whatever the number, GGG is definitely going to be entitled to a larger share than what Amir Khan got against Canelo (10mil+). Do the math. GBP are going to have to pay GGG pretty well if they make that fight.Comment

A few things about GGG opponents like Canelo (and Floyd)
If GGG fails to look great against Brook, or Brook goes 12, two things will quickly happen.
1. Floyd will come out of retirement with specific goal of willing a title at 160 pounds.
2. Canelo will suddenly be ready to fight GGG at 160.
3. Lara will say he will take 1 million to fight GGG.
4. Jacobs will take the 1.5 he deserves.
5. Suanders will want that 1.5 million.
If GGG makes easy work of Brook, Floyd won't say anything. Canelo will continue to claim his 180 pound in the ring body sent ready for MW, despite GGG weighing 170-174 and being ready.
And the rest will ask for ppv money to fight GGG, all the while taking 500k to fight lessor opponents. They'll ignore they don't deserve that kind of mney, they don't sell or bring in rating. They know if they beat GGG theyd propels themselves into stardom. Yet, they somehow believe they deserve ppv money for taking a fight on HBO.Comment
