Best wins are over Mosley, Judah, Martinez, Margarito II, Clottey, Malignaggi. Of the rest there are recognizable names to me that strike me as less impressive wins - Ndou, Quintana, Chop Chop and some others. Losses are primarily to top P4P fighters. Nothing to scoff at for sure but ATG? I'm not sure.

Miguel Cotto has had a solid Hall of Fame career. He's a four time multiple division titleholder and an undisputed (lineal) Middleweight champion.with a resume that is second to none.
In addition, he gave Money Mayweather one of the toughest fights of his career. Floyd even commented that Cotto was his toughest opponent and the hardest puncher he had ever faced.
What most of his detractors would point to is that he makes diva demands. For instance, after years of avoiding Sergio Martinez, he decided to fight him, once it was apparent that he was no longer at his physical peak and a mere shell of his former self.
Also, instead of fighting Canelo Alvarez at the full 160 lb limit, he decided to fight him at a catch weight of 155lb instead. Stating that he was a small MW.
Likewise, when GGG became his mandatory, he ducked him. By saving face, he disputed the amount of the WBC's sanctioning fees, he had originally agreed to pay and was subsequently stripped of the title. Which was a tell tale sign that he was vacating the division either win or lose.
Overall though; He is a good fighter, champion and legend. He is one of the finest boxers, that the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, has ever produced and one who should make that Island very proud
