Cotto was lucky to beat clottey, and got whooped on by trout, them fighters arent in GGG's league.
Ive seen you do some decent posts on this site, just a shame you are so blinded by hatred (as are many) when it comes to golovkin.
I'm not the blinded one and the irony in that statement is unreal.

Boxrec has Canelo number 1. Have you heard of that small site boxrec? OH or you believe The Ring's list? ......... either argument is flawed and you knew that the second your brought up P4P lists.

Right So let me get this straight... Quintana beats an undefeated Paul Williams.. But that doesn't matter

So Quintana was still the same fighter for Berto two years later but Geale was finished a fight later ..... sigh....seriously man.....

Once again have you even seen the Trout/Cotto fight? literally 7/5 Trout at best. And I had Trout beating Canelo so how is he not on GGG's level?

Oh right...GGG has beaten Wade, Lemieuz and Murray......

Occam's razor.. All my posts are reasonable... You just take issue with the ones about GGG. You are the issue not me.

I wont dispute any fight he has lost because he lost them but he never got his ass kicked aside from Paq. he is one of the great fighters of this era, Im astounded he doesnt get the credit.

I guess someone is going to bring up the first Margarito fight and if you do god help you. If you think Marg didnt have his wraps stacked that fight you need to never ***in post here again.
Stylistically I think Cotto is the best in boxing. His small gas tank was always his downside but the man can fight. I watch Cotto fights for training tips. But Cotto himself (especially the last few years) seems like a douche. Oh well though, he made a lot of $ so more power to him!

First - hate is a very strong word. He is somewhat disliked, but not hated. It has nothing to with payday.
He actually lined up GGG's pockets quite nice with "step aside". But Cotto is a main culprit in marginalizing lineal mw title. He won it at catchweight, defended at catchweight against GGG's roadkill and then lost at a catchweight. What he did was detrimental to boxing as a sport.

Yup! Behind a piston like jab. My middle son is really athletic, I take a lot from what I see that Cotto did/does and teach him. I seen people say in here that Tito was better p4p which could be true, I dont really think there is to much of a comparison other than they are both PR. But IMO fundamentally Cotto was way better. There is no style that clashed with Cotto, he could fight every style and win by KO or UD. Tito most of the time had to go for the KO.

argument isnt flawed, when every p4p list (or 99 percent cause theres bound to be a crazy one) has golovkin ahead of cotto does that not make you wonder whether you might be arguing for the wrong side here? Or does pivot and (t)roll know more than everyone else combined? And dont tell me cottos past his prime, hence the rankings, all you clowns said he was 'rejuvenated' under roach and blamed his past losses on bad trainers amongst other things, until canelo (whos not amazing himself) gave cotto a pasting.

I very much agree. Cotto always puts on a great show, and that version of Cotto was dynamite.
