I think Oscar and Canelo are still making noises about intending to fight Golovkin. And didn't Canelo himself talk a blue streak in the ring after knocking out his junior welterweight opponent? He's not effing around. Let's do this.
I think he said, "160 is not a problem."
That's a big money fight, so....still waiting. Sign the documents. Let's do this.

This is worse and hypocritical dragging a WW up 2 full weight classes to 160. Nobody put a gun to his face and made him sell out. He decided that so I don't want to hear the excuses. And yes he was begging both Floyd and Manny just last year. Again why is it all these guys he wants to fight have never fought a day of their life at 160? Why he looking down instead of answering the challenge of the numerous guys that will fight him at 168? And if it's ok for him to say I will fight you guys eventually but not until I am ready to move up but it's not OK for Canelo to say the same to him? Oh because GGG is the bigger superstar and sells way more PPVs then Canelo...oh wait never mind LMAO
2. The Brook fight is disappointing. But no, due to the circumstances, it's not worse than what Canelo did. Because Canelo actively pursued Khan after requesting a voluntary, whereas GG actually signed a contract to fight Eubank and then handed it back in. No, nobody put a gun to his head to face Brook. You are right. But nobody would have refused Brook and walked away from the fight in his position. And anybody who disagrees, is a liar. Because HBO were more than happy, his training camp had already been set up, the terms were exactly the same, and it gave him the opportunity to broaden his fan base on a huge U.K. PPV. It would have been nonsensical to have walked. And to fight who? Brook was his 3rd choice of opponent, and HBO's date had been booked since March. To keep that date, they would literally only have had days to have found another opponent and another venue. It would have been practically impossible. And his wish is to fight another twice before the year is out. So why would he have jeopardised that? He wouldn't have.
3. Who are the numerous guys at 168 who want to fight him?
4. No, it's not okay what Canelo and Oscar did. If he's genuinely not ready to fight at MW, then they should have relinquished the belt after Cotto. That would have been fine. Nobody could have criticised them. But they asked for a voluntary against Khan and gave everyone the impression that they were going to fight GG afterwards even though they had no intentions of doing so. We had all of the BS where they invited GG into the ring afterwards etc. So the circumstances are completely different.Last edited by robertzimmerman; 08-25-2016, 02:00 PM.

Remind me again why it didn't happen.

So what's the problem why is GGG still unwilling to go down in weight to fight Canelo? What happened to I'll go to 154 or 168? Didn't he just say no reason to 168 because those aren't big fights so no excuse to not go down since Canelo is the biggest fight possible. But we all know this fraud is a liar.
And if GGG offered a catchweight to Canelo now, I know what your reaction would be - "I thought he only wanted the belt .. lying POS ... why doesn't he pick on somebody his own size ... " .. etc

The only difference is how uncomfortable he would make GGG. Golovkin is 160 champ, Brook wants those titles, he should fight at 160.
Its not like Brook doesnt walk around at 185 and was 176 thirty days out. GGG was 11 pounds lighter.
The same fans who now criticize ggg for fighting Brook (who is heavier than him before, during and after fights), would demand he go 15 pounds north.
GGG will never be heavier than Ward is, but the same haters will ignore this.
There are frauds here all right, but it is not Golovkin.
Fact 2 - Less than half-year GGG quote "I'm not businessman"
Fact 3 - After Wade fight - GGG quote "Kell Brook is too small"
Fact 3 - Less than half-year GGG quote "Canelo vs Khan no respect for boxing"
Fact 4 - A week ago on conference call - GGG quote "Who's @168? Jack? Ramirez? De-Geale? they are not big fights, I want big fights.
Fact 5 - Golovkin has requested anyone who wants to fight him to move up or down to 160, he's critized fighters for doing so but he doesn't feel like he's subjected to the same standard.
Conclusion:
Your boy and his team have put their feet on their mouth, contradicions all over the place year after year, men fans like you just want a man you never met in your life and who doesn't give you a single penny have sucess.
Real Boxing Fans want the biggest fights. IMO Golovkin is not very different than Canelo, both cowards requesting special treatment for them, difference here is that Canelo right now brings big money, and that is a fact too.
You just got OWNED.

And it's easy to say if GGG didn't refuse going down in weight the fight still wouldn't of happened when this chump didn't do it. Just like it's easy to say GGG don't need to move up to 168 he will just KO all them guys anyway. Another thing to prove it. GGG is a coward. Making Floyd Mayweather like demands when he don't have a Floyd Mayweather like resume. PPV flopper with a joke resume but somehow he's entitled to make bigger star fighters come to his weight but he never has to go to anyone elses LMAO
Yes, it is easy to say that the Canelo fight wouldn't have happened regardless of the weight, because Oscar just doesn't want it yet.
Floyd Mayweather like demands? What demands? Wanting to fight at the 160 limit was hardly a demand.
What do you mean he's somehow entitled to make bigger star fighters come to his weight? Canelo WENT to his weight.
