So he's going to wait around for another full year hoping he gets the canelo fight, and what? Fight more welterweights? Who the hell is at 160? Who do you think he'd get more credit for? Waiting for Canelo, or moving up and possibly seek greatness fighting Jack, Degale, etc, etc? This is why he's making less, rather than the 13 million khan made. Interestingly enough, he wants to unify at 160...that's fine, he could get a fight at 168.. win or lose he's still the 160 lb champion and could go right back down and continue to unify the last of the division.

There is little insensitive for him to move up when there is no big fights up there. Degale, Zurdo, Sterm need to fight each other so they can make it a big fight.

Not really, since Brook is heavier than GGG before the fight, he actually will be more comfortable at 160 than 157. He has to cut less weight before the fight.

The only difference is how uncomfortable he would make GGG. Golovkin is 160 champ, Brook wants those titles, he should fight at 160.

Its not like Brook doesnt walk around at 185 and was 176 thirty days out. GGG was 11 pounds lighter.

Brook's own promoter clarified that Kell wanted to fight GGG at 160, because he wants to get full credit for winning MW titles at the legit MW limit, without any catchweight.

You should stop dissing and Golovkin and give Brook some credit yourself.

Do you believe this is anything other than a cash grab by both GGG and Brook, had Brook gone on and lost to Spence humiliatingly would he still be considered a PPV star ? No, I doubt it too. After this Brook can avert Spence further by dropping to 154 stating 160 was too much and he can no longer make 147 as he has outgrown it, subterfuge at its finest.
