I disagree with you on the Pacquiao-Mayweather rematch. I really think Floyd is done. He's not coming back after a year and a half off at 40 years old while Pac has been staying active.
I agree with the second part. Pac is still good money and still good for 200k PPV's. This is all Peter Nelson't fault. Nelson DKSAB. He fucked up building the Ward-Kovalev fight by being cheap. Sergey had to go to Russia and fight. His fight came on on a Monday night and got some of the lowest ratings ever for HBO. Then they didn't want to give Ward any money for a decent opponent. He's saving money for the Canelo fight in December and GGG's fight in December.
I think Floyds stays retired, but if he does come back the Pac figh is probably the most lucrative option and possibly the second biggest financial fight in history and if it does happen HBo will be on the outside looking in like Oscar was in the first fight
And I agree with Nelson, I'm not 100% convinced he the right man for the job in fact I think he's done more harm then good for the HBo brand since being in charge
Pacquiao got dropped because of his anti gay statements. Has nothing to do with the Vargas fight it could have been Crawford and they still wouldnt take it, they officially removed themselves from doing any further business with him. HBO and all the NEtworks besides FOX are pro gay and ******.

What I hate about Boxing.
A good fight can be made (Pac-Crawford)
but instead we get a lower quality fight
After Crawfords boring running performance against Postol, how is that a good fight, PPV is and should only be for action packed fights. Casuals will not pay or even give boxing a positive review if they had to pay for another guy running from Pac or trying to play on points or time Pac with a counter.
Vargas is getting hated fro no reason, His championship win over Sadam Ali was far more impressive than Crawfords over Postol.
Stop hating on Mexicans getting a shot, some of you guys be racist man.
If you think Pacquiao is exactly the same as he was five years ago then I don't know what to tell you. Being past prime doesn't mean he sucks, it simply means he's an older fighter who's lost a couple steps . For what it's worth Bradley probably lost a step or two himself.
Age and years of fighting catches up with everyone, it's just the reality. Because of everything I mentioned (Pac getting older, Mayweather vs Pacquiao era being over, Vargas is a not a compelling fight) HBO isn't interested in putting money into it. It's simple really and like I said, if team Pac actually picked a good opponent, like Crawford for example, HBO would be all over this fight. Bit they didn't so they'll go to ESPN PPV or Showtime or whatever they can manage. Clearly they are doing what they want versus what fans actually want so nothing is stopping them from their Vargas fight, no one needs to complain.
ESPN & Showtime need to turn this down as well for the greater good of boxing. They should of laughed at Canelo-Smith as well. The only way good fights will be made is if all the providers of boxing put their foot down and refuse to put on anything less.
It's obviously Arum who put this crap fight together. Manny would honestly fight anybody. Hopefully Max Kellerman can get into ESPN's ear to refuse the fight as well. I love Manny and hate an example is being made out of him but it's for the greater good of boxing.
