Lie! Lie! Freddy already stated numerous times he would prefer the fight at 140.

I really don't know what's up with Team Crawford, but I can't believe he would turn down a Pacquiao fight @ 147, now that he already beat Postol. Stranger things have happened:

        January 13, 2016:

“I think it’s a good fight for him [Pacquiao]. Hopefully, we’ll get someone [Mayweather] to come out of retirement after that,” Roach told Fighthype. Crawford said no. Bob [Arum] said they won’t try Crawford yet. Crawford is too young for Manny. Crawford may be a future superstar, but he’s not that far yet. They’re still building him. Crawford may be someone down the line, but I don’t feel he’s ready for Manny yet,” Roach said. So either Crawford turned down the Pacquiao or Arum if Roach is to be believed. It’s one of those two things.

Initially we heard that Pacquiao was the one that made the decision to select Bradley rather than Crawford or Amir Khan. Last week it was reported that Pacquiao was saying that it was Arum who made the selection of Bradley, and that Pacquiao said he didn’t care who he fought. Roach is saying that’s it both Crawford and Arum who turned down the Pacquiao fight. It’s pretty incredible stuff.

You can't trust anything that "Boxing247.com" says. They are totally biased against Crawford & any fighter associated with Arum. (But especially Crawford for some reason) It doesn't make any sense but there ya have it.

The Crawford camp demanded that because they were butthurt over Koncz's comments that Crawford was never a consideration (or even an after thought at the time they selected Bradley to fight him again) Boxing ego's are big and easily frayed. But it definitely was the Pacquiao camp that set the Crawford camps attitude in motion. They are now going out of their way to show people that they will no longer chase Pacquiao, and that he is an old, has been...afterthought. In other words...they are cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Crawford VS Pacman might be the last fight for pacquiao. Probably next year. If i was pacman i wouldnt fight him - legacy is already cemented. go out and beat up danny garcia - a very winnable fight is the way to go out. Nothing else to prove.

Turned out that Arum never offered team Crawford anything. The old man is a crooked liar.

The quote is from Freddie Roach! This is typical Roach! There's a lot of things that he (Roach) says that comes back to haunt Arum! Team Pacquiao is never on the same page!!!

                June 12, 2015:

Nobody knew about Pacquiao's pre-fight injury, but in revealing it to the gathered media afterward, Team Pacquiao did its best Cool Hand Luke imitation. It had a failure to communicate — with each other.

Roach said he was surprised when one of the first questions in the post-match news conference was about the injury. He had been told on the way out, by Top Rank's head man, Bob Arum, to say nothing. But apparently it was Arum, angry that the Nevada Athletic Commission had not allowed Pacquiao to be given a doctor-approved and legal painkiller injection just before the fight, who clued in a couple of reporters just before the conference.

Pacquiao apparently had no marching orders, so as soon as the question came up, he told the truth about the injury and the technicality that disallowed his pain-killing shot.

Pacquiao's adviser, Michael Koncz, who had filled out the form for the commission that would have allowed the injection had Koncz checked "Yes" in a box that asked about any injuries, was also, according to Roach, recommending that mum be the word on the injury.

But once Arum told the two reporters, and once Pacquiao publicly told all, there was no turning back.

For Freddie Roach, America's most-famous boxing trainer, the cloud that began hovering overhead on May 2, shortly after his fighter, Manny Pacquiao, lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr., refuses to go away.

                  Arum is not Loeffler.

Bob doesn't give a hoot who the trainers want for their fighters. Sanchez has been acting like he's Golovkin's father and Loeffler let's him decide who Golovkin fights.

                  Not Arum.

someone may have posted the quote already, but im sure ****roach said not long ago that pacquiaos best weight was at 140? Was his teams 3rd excuse regarding the mayweather loss (1. judges scored it wrong, 2. bad shoulder, 3. not his best weight)
