You should be goading fighters like keith thurman and danny garcia into fighting the best fighters available. They wouldnt even have to switch weight classes for that. But for whatever reason you think manny still has to prove himself while the young lions should take the easy fights lol what part of the game is that?
The greatest ducker and cherry picker in boxing history continues his trend of cherry picking fights he and his team know he can win. A brief history to those vaginas who truly believe that Pacman is a demi god:
Brandon Rios: An absolute garbage fight. Rios was coming off a loss and was a 135Ibs fighter for fcuk's sake. Rios is a human punching bag to top it off
Algieri: Prior to that fight, nobody on this planet knew who Algeiri was and it was a catch weight fight. One of many.
Mosley: Was coming off a UD loss to Floyd. How the fcuk do you justify fighting a guy that was just completely beaten up?
Hatton: Got destroyed by Floyd then spoon fed by Arum to Pacman.
Cotto: Weight drained to fight at 145
Oscar: Weight drained to fight at 147
Clottey: WTF!! Another puching bag that just came in for a paycheck
Jesse Vargas: Why? Why not Crawford or Thurman or Brooks or a real WW?
Pacman's record is littered with rematches after rematches (Marquez x4, Morales x3, Barrera x2, Bradley x3) - 12 fights Total.
Lastly, why can't Pac fight a true WW?? How is he considered an all time great when he has done nothing to fight real contenders.

Manny is old, semi retired and a senator, how is he supposed to spend weeks making weight? When is the last time he fought at 140?

Crawford - the much bigger guy doesn't want to fight at 147? That makes no sense.

Crawford sold like 50k PPVs and barely any tickets, runs for 12 rounds, barely throws any punches and thinks he is the A Side vs Pac?

Crawford don't need belts, Crawford needs names. Had he jumped up to 147, he woulda had a legendary fight. Manny shouldn't be the only fighter put at risk to come down. TBUD is crazy to ask that of manny, he's clearly bigger than manny so why not move up and save yourself 7 pounds of uneeeded dehydration? Really these fighters of today's time are jokes. This is why TBUD only had local fans, he's a LOCAL ASS dude. Nobody outside of these waters knows about him and he's a champion. At least Vargas was willing to go to Britain but that ship sailed because of GGG.

This guy should be picking on Floyd if he wants to talk cherry picking. Fighting maidana 2 times is like manny fighting Algieri again lol

Hilarious!!! For years Freddie Roach and all these Pacquiao groupies have been claiming he's a really shouldn't be a 147 lb Welterweight and that he could fight at 140 but the truth is he can't even make the weight. More reasonable boxing fans all ready knew this and also know that Bradley, Rios and Algieri had to move up to face Pacquiao for a reason.

Except for the fact that Maidana was the WBA Welterweight Champion when he entered the ring to fight Mayweather as opposed to Chris Algeri who wasn't even ranked at 147 because he moved up from 140 to face Pacquiao.

You can fight Maidana twice when the first victory was a MD, but no one wanted to see another Algeri fight after he lost almost every round to Pacquiao on all 3 judges scorecards. If you don't know the difference between those scenarios......you're on the wrong site.

                  April 8 2016:
                  by Paul Wheeler

HALL OF FAME trainer Freddie Roach believes that his fighter, Manny Pacquiao, is not currently campaigning at his optimum fighting weight. The Los Angeles-based coach is of the opinion that Pacquiao – who battles Timothy Bradley for the third time in Las Vegas this Saturday (April 9) – would be best served competing at super-lightweight, rather than welterweight, the division in which he currently resides. However, any such talk would prove obsolete if Pacquiao goes through with his well-publicised intention of retiring from boxing after the Bradley clash.

If Manny does end up fighting again [after this weekend’s bout], I hope it’s at 140lbs and not 147,” Roach opined. “Manny’s a much better puncher at 140 than 147. That’s what I attribute to why he hasn’t knocked anyone out in a long time [since Miguel Cotto in November 2009] – because he’s been fighting at the higher weight. It’s not that he’s not hitting as hard as he used to, it’s just that he’s not that big a person at 147. Manny could still make 135 if he wanted to. He walks around at about 138, so 135 would be no problem. I think a move down in weight could prolong his career, if he does decide to fight again. There are some big fights at 140, against Terence Crawford and those sort of guys. I think Manny’s best fighting weight is 140.”

You just can't make this **** up!!!

If this is true which I doubt Crawford is ******. He should fight Manny at anything over 140 he ask for. Crawford's bigger and can beat this version of Pacquiao anyway.
