Crawford making demands like he A-side. Demanding Manny to come down to 140 shelved the fight. Gave them a built-in excuse not to fight him. Should have said "I'll fight him at any weight, if he wants it at 147 we can go there, if he wants it at 140 and he can get it there too"

Crawford should move up if he wants Manny. Two seconds ago he was calling out Danny Garcia at the full WW limit. If Crawford don't want to move up I have no problem with Jessie Vargas stepping in. I'm already getting a sense of divaness coming from Crawford at a time when he's supposed to still be hungry. He's not Floyd or Manny with 10+ years in calling their own shots, or Canelo selling 900k on PPV.

the real question for me is why didnt terrence crawford fight manny at 147lbs?

he's taller and has a longer reach than pacquiao, certainly has the talent to compete with any welter not named floyd and is better suited and will eventually end up fighting at 147lbs.

this seems like a coordinated company line talking point.
