Is Danny Garcia going to fight again this year? Why so inactive?

Some perspective for all of you.

Danny has fought once this year and twice last year. Canelo has fought once this year and twice last year. Both have fought 5 times since Jan 1, 2014.

Do any of you consider Canelo inactive as well?

Canelo is a superstar now though. He can fight once or twice a year and no one will think twice. Danny Garcia is not on that level, and I'm a fan of his.

Is he not? He's a publicly recognizable figure even outside of boxing. He's on Under Armour commercials and the face of Tecate beer. At the very least, he's a boxing superstar.

He's a protected boxer who is limited. His father represents much of what is wrong with the sport, advising him to cherrypick at all costs.

Danny isn't inactive he's been fighting 2 times a year for the last 3-4 years like most upper echelon fighters

Since 2013 Garcias fought 7 times with another fight probably in the next month or two in that time frame. Since 2013 this is how many times other top notch fighter have fought
