He has been in fights recently which he obviously won but didn't get the decision. And one thing I learned from watching Stevenson is that he gets really favored by the judges. In close fights he gets wide decision wins, for example.
Stevenson likes to be first so Ramirez has to be first. He has to be relentless. Stevenson is not as athletic as Ramirez. Stevenson is pretty flatfooted so it's not going to be super difficult to get to him. Ramirez is going to have to push forward. Like I said Stevenson likes to be first and go forward. Ramirez can't let him to that.
Stevenson is not that accurate while Ramirez has shown pretty good accuracy.

I am just worried that Ramirez won't get a fair decision. He is going to have to go for it.
The thing that worries me about Ramirez is that he's not consistent at times, but when he's in the zone he's very good.
Ramirez is getting robbed they're desperate to give Stevenson that gold , look at his draw

Out of all Spanish Speaking countries Cubans probably speak the fastest so for them to be speaking slow like that and slurring I don't know man. La Cruz for instance, this video of him speaking is a little flattering as I've seen other interviews with him where it's way worse.

You hear Rigondeaux and Lara speak and they speak with no sign of punch-drunkenness at all. Now keep in mind that Rigo is from Santiago de Cuba from up in the mountains where it doesn't even sound like Spanish. Lara is from Guantanamo where they speak almost as bad as the Santiagueros. Now these two don't show a single sign of punch-drunkenness.

Neither does Toledo who is from Camaguay where La Cruz is from. Neither does Johanys Argilagos who is from the same province. I know people from Camaguay and I know how they speak.

Check this video of De La Cruz and he is only 26. It's pretty bad

Now here I am posting an interview with Johanys Argilagos who is also from Camaguay and actually speaks with an even worse accent where he is eating a lot of the letters from the words but he is not speaking slowly or slurring and this is right after a 5 round fight and he is very tired

Bro la cruz dosen't Sound punch drunk at all, he sound "ronco" which it have nothing to do with punch drunk.

I could be wrong though cause I've been around a lot of boxers and kids that box too and the majority is so dumb and slow. So it could be that they are very dumb or they are punch drunk as they are very slow when they speak especially Veitia and La Cruz. So many fights and gym wars, even though at the big stage they are barely getting hit, they've been hit enough, trust me.
Robeisy, was yesterday in fb live a sound like a normal Cuban, you are the one who's drunk.

          Reckon Joyce will beat Dychko.

Dychko and Yoka are overrated IMO.

Joyce vs Hrgovic would be a class final
I remember that Dychko from the last Olympics - he looks well cumbersome but is going to medal again. Joyce has beaten Hrgovic in the WSB before.

Interesting fella Joyce and he looks sturdy as hell (he'll probably get KTFO now I said that):

People slag Joyce off all the time, but a big ****ing lump like him coming at you for 3 straight rounds isnt easy to deal with.

I think he has been caught cold before though. Cant remember who by though

pretty sure it was sergey kuzmin who KOed him

he is certainly a nightmare style to face though. his punches are slow but thudding, like old george foreman

i could see him being laid out by hrgovic but not dychko or yoka

Hrgovic is my favourite of the bunch. He's got good insticts for boxing even if he is quite cumbersome.

Dychko and Yoka just look like big guys who have spent a few years in the gym imo. Like imitations of good boxers

yeah i pretty much agree. yoka has a good looking offence but somehow feels like a KO waiting to happen, while dychko has a good looking defence but an impotent attack and extremely inefficient energy management
