dychko has the most inefficient style ever. he really doesn't do his talent justice
i thought hrgovic edged out yoka but it was a high quality bout and they both have an argument. i think yoka is a better draw for joyce anyway
joyce's style ain't pretty but it works. i fancy him for the gold nowComment

I had rnds 1 and 3 pretty clear for Hrgovic tbh.
They were pretty even in shots landed, but Croats punches had more behind them, and were cleaner in rnd 1. Rnd 3 Yoka was injured so easy round to score.
Second was close. definitely can see that going to YokaComment

Would you expect Joyce to turn pro?dychko has the most inefficient style ever. he really doesn't do his talent justice

Normally it's a given but he's 31 soon. But if he won gold I guess if he was carefully matched a fight in the future with Joshua would be worth pure money.
Not seen much ofJoyce but I heard Spencer Fearon on that Sky Podcast describe Joyce as suited to the amateurs. Can't say I really understand that. He seems fairly rudimentary with that forward march and thudding body shots. Can't see how that wouldn't transfer over into the pros. Simple and effective.Comment

Huge robbery. I have Hrgovic 3-0. He won all three rounds for me but I can see Yoka taking round 1.
I believe France, in conjuction with AIBA, bought Yoka at the very least a place in the final. This is too obvious. These crooks had planned everything: they robbed Mihai Nistor because he's a good pressure fighter with all the tools to beat Yoka. They knew the Jordanian would be a walk in the park for the Frenchman, and he was. You get one gift, it may be an accident, you get two gifts back to back, and it's a different story.
In the stand, we saw the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of France, Thierry Braillard, laughing with AIBA's president Wu Ching-Kuo. "Hey, we're making a mockery of this sport, and it's hilarious!". AIBA's executive director, Karim Bouzidi, is also from France. Yoka has started to get controversial decisions since his appointment, for instance at the last World Championships.
Yoka is a joke, an AIBA creation. I wouldn't turn pro if I were him.Comment

I didn't see the Olympics today but I am curious if Gaibnazarov got another gift today?
I read that Hrvog was robbed again against Yoka like in the Worlds last year, that's terrible.
So it's like 2 robberies per day. What's the tally so far, 20 robberies this tournament?Comment
