La Cruz, Robeisy and Veitia - these guys barely get hit and they are already punch drunk at a young age. I could be wrong though cause I've been around a lot of boxers and kids that box too and the majority is so dumb and slow. So it could be that they are very dumb or they are punch drunk as they are very slow when they speak especially Veitia and La Cruz. So many fights and gym wars, even though at the big stage they are barely getting hit, they've been hit enough, trust me.

That happens all the time, people thinks the defensive fighters are natural talents but they have that kind of reflexes by getting punched everyday since they were kids, look at Whitaker, Benitez, Toney, all punch drunk by their late 30's and look at Chuvalo, LaMotta and others with all his faculties even when they are much older.
Still i don't believe they are punch drunk, just slow on the speech.

Melikuziev is obviously a serious talent albeit pretty raw.

He just toyed with the Mexican in the semi-final.

Hope he gets with a good trainer and promotional outfit if he jumps to the pros

If Robeisy wins his 2nd gold medal he will be in Rigo and Loma territory.

Everything Ramirez has won has been gold so far.

If you speak spanish and are familiar with the different accents from certain spanish speaking countries you would know that most Cubans that came from the more rougher area speak spanish like that.

My aunts husband from cuba who is in his mid 60's and is educated and with a degree speaks spanish just like that yet he's never boxed a day in his life.

Dude I live in Santiago de Cuba where they speak the worst Spanish in all of Cuba. Trust me they are shop worn. I meet boxers there all the time. I am completely fluent in Spanish, I am half-Cuban

Listen to Arlen and Lazaro and even Argilagos and Yasniel, there is a big difference in terms of the speech patern. These three guys are going to sound worse and worse. I've met 14 year old kids who are like that already. Sparring wars in Cuba are not a joke. You have two kids against 1 pummeling him and he's not allowed to throw just working on movement and defense.

I was thinking about the first video when i put my post, but they aren't punch drunk, it looks like they are just slow, you talk spanish?
Also in the first video, man Veitia looks like an 80 year old.

That's good but like i said i know people that are cuban aswell and also speak spanish like that yet have never boxed a day in there lives

Im sure there are several punch drunk fighters from all over the area and beyond but its not an actual fact that those guys speak like that cuz of punches.

By the way im also fluent in spanish and full Hispanic.
