We all know who's in charge of Degale and it's not Hearn.

If they wanted Degale at 168 they could have approached his team. Otherwise he's just throwing Degales name out there for no reason.

I don't agree with that. We don't know who's in charge of DeGale. In different threads people say that Hearn is in charge, in others it's that Haymon is charge. I haven't seen anything that conclusively proves anything.

And in regarding to DeGale.. they've spoken about him multiple times within the last year. Here are some examples:

Besides that 1 interview where James says "yeah, I'd fight Golovkin", I have not seen any attempts on his part to make this fight. For example, Zurdo Ramirez and his promoter have talked about fighting Golovkin. We know they're for real. DeGale and his team have not really broached the topic.

We know that GGG's team is open to DeGale fight. Unless they all know that fight wont happen due to politics, the ball is in their court to make an effort.

You can't say "false" and not offer any proof. I'm not saying it's not true, I'm saying I have not seen anything that states it one way or another.

I'm not Loeffler, Hearn or Haymon. I don't know why they did not try to make DeGale. Just like you don't know, no matter what theories you have.

I have three guesses why they made Brook vs. GGG and not DeGale:
1) Brook was having issues making a fight w Vargas. Since Brook is more popular, and was having issues, it paid better for both fighters and for the promoters to make GGG vs. Brook.
2) DeGale is supposed to unify with Jack.
3) Making fights with Haymon fighters is still very difficult for HBO-affiliated promoters. All we have seen so far is Wade, a little known mandatory, and Khan who's kind of a Haymon guy, but kind of not.

I think it's mostly a combination of #1 and #2. If he made DeGale-GGG, he screws over one of his best guys (Brook) and potentially screws up the SMW unification.

Kell Brook has won one title at welterweight. He has beaten one top 5 opponent in his career, and that was two years ago.
He has been wobbled a few times in his career by people that are not even punchers in their divisions, let alone GGG.

I've been following his career for years, and I predicted he would be a world champion before he even won a British title. I don't think he will beat Golovkin, but I think he will put up a better fight than Eubank Jnr would have done.

And as none of the top MW's want to fight Golovkin, and Brook does, that makes him the best opponent available. So get off your high horse and go lecture somebody else, fool.
