As an example, Haymon was willing to let Wade fight GGG, but not Jacobs who has been a mandatory for much much longer than Wade. Just sayin'...

How about when the WBA announced they will enforce Jacobs' mandatory if the GGG/Canelo fight falls through? Then shortly after Jacobs announces he has a fight in july at Barclay's Arena without an opponent. Seems fishy if you ask me. They didn't get Mora to sign on until way, way later...which forced them to move the fight back. Something smells with that. Just sayin'...

He's still thought of as some monster. What changed? Is a mismatch suddenly going to change that he's a monster in the ring?

Well DiBella has been quoted as saying that fights with GGG for both Lara and Jacobs would be difficult to make because of network conflicts, you'd have to think that there is something to it

Personally, I'd much prefer to see either of them (and Dirrell) to Brook but it is what it is at the moment

Btw, it would also be difficult for K2/GGG to turn down the money that comes with a Brook fight when compared to the others

And then we see lil'G petitioning the WBA to sanction that "defence" SMH

They are LITERALLY tip-toeing through the tulips to lame-their-way to Hopkins record by fighting no-hopers..... and this is only possible due to the utter ******ity of their 97,000 "fans".

Golovkin is a hypejob, in the very truest sense of the word.
It's a money fight because the British boxing public are easy to sell to. All they've had to do is say GGG is the number one fighter in the world (when he isn't) and show some KO reels. That's enough to convince them to buy, because it's not often they get to attract a fighter of that calibre to come to the UK.
