Did I say it wasn't? That was literally my first post regarding the fight. I outright said that this is a mismatch that's nothing more than a cash grab since there wasn't a viable opponent at 160.

Next time you quote me, you better be damn sure you know what you are talking about.

      c) there are much better fights available than Brook, but YOU keep making/endorsing weak excuses to justify why your guy will not step up....

      1) they should have negotiated on the weight with Canelo, like they promised

      2) they shouldn't have lied about the offer to Saunders, they should have paid him what they are willing to pay Brook

      3) they shouldn't have offered Jacobs " Quillin money "

      a) He said he wanted a unification fight at 160... I'm not insisting he should fight at 160. His team said that they wanted a 160 fight regardless of what I say...

      b) They've been saying for a few years now they wanted 160 unification more than anything and would only move up/down for a money fight, which they've done and is RELEVANT to the situation this coming Sept.

      c) Good thing I never endorsed Brook as a real opponent for GGG. My first post in this forum about this fight was that it was a mismatch money grab.

      1) Irrelevant to the situation right now. Canelo has no issue with the weight right now, which, if you weren't ******ed, would understand is the topic of conversation.

      2) Lol so you want me to blame GGG's team for not making a bad business decision? **** Floyd may as well fight me with him getting 1% and I get 99% of the PPV buys or he be labelled a coward.

      3) Jacobs has a fight scheduled in August/Sept. It has no bearing to GGG's fight on Sept, which is the topic of conversation. Not to mention you still haven't provided the proof where Jacobs was offered a bad offer. BJS said himself it was a career payday but he wanted more than he deserved. Yet you want me to balme GGG for that of all people?

You've still yet to answer the question I posed. Which 160 opponent is acceptable that would have been available in early Sept?

        right.....

" Did it hold up the fight back then? Sure. "

..... so, Golovkin did kill the fight by refusing to give Canelo a catchweight

..... and, the Brook fight is ****.

because that is all I was saying

I have answered that question a number of times.

Why are you insisting that Golovkin's next fight MUST be held at 160 when.....

They do not need to fight at 160 in order to land a better opponent than Brook, so stop being ridiculous.

Actually, you haven't answered the question. You haven't named anyone that was willing to fight GGG in Sept 2016. Not once. You're just repeating yourself with questions already answered.

              a) I'm not happy they are fighting a welterweight and I already said that

              b) Irrelevant in present terms. People change stances all the time. Canelo, Manny, Floyd, Oscar, Ali, etc all changed stances on something once in their career.

              c) Good thing I never said there weren't better fights than Brook nor did I say I WANTED a fight between GGG-Brook. I said those better fights didn't happen because most/all of the 160 fighters aren't available and GGG's team said they've only move away from that stance if they got a money fight and that's what they did.

              1) You bring up GGG-Canelo negotiations 2 years ago as if that's relevant to their negotiations Sept 2016. Was it relevant when they could have fought in 2015? Sure. Not relevant WHATSOEVER in Sept 2016, which is the topic of discussion. I talked about Sept 2016. If you wanna quote me, stick to the ****ing topic.. Canelo said in May 2016 that he didn't WANT to negotiate the weight . Oscar said himself the reason the fight will take place next year IS NOT because of an issue with the catchweight.

              2) BJS said himself he was getting a career payday but said he wanted more. It's unreasonable to expect GGG's team to take a few million dollar loss just to get him in the ring with BJS.

              3) You bring up GGG's team offering Jacobs "Quillen money" despite the fat Jacbos team already agreed to a fight with Mora MONTHS BEFORE GGG looked for a Sept 2016 opponent that wasn't Canelo.

Let's be real, you're not going to read **** and you're going to copy and paste the same thing because education in your country isn't the strongest.

Where's the "excuse"? I mean you can't even give me a list of fighters available that was ready for GGG in Sept 2016. Canelo said no so you can't include him. Jacobs agreed to a Mora fight well before GGG picked Brook, BJS already said no, Cotto wanted to move back down to fight JMM. Even top SMW are unavailable (DeGale vs Jack already agreed to a fight, Ramirez is injured, Dirrell brothers ****** their last time out). Top JMW are unavailable too (Charlo brothers have a fight, Andrade is fighting one of the Carlo brothers).

The only guy right now that was available for a Sept 2016 fight that would add credibility to GGG is Lara and I do wish he fighted Lara over Brook but he chose the money fight (like he said he would). Other than that, there's actually no one available.

No, Canelo was willing to fight, but lil'G b1tched out..... AGAIN !!

Stop blaming Canelo because Golovkin writes checks with his mouth that he can't cash with his fists.

                    First it was, " Golovkin: I'll fight anyone at 154, 160, 168 "
                    http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/box...-at-154160-168

Then Andre Ward announced his comeback.

                    So it became, " Golovkin: I'll fight anyone at 154, 160, 164 "
Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), says a fight can certainly be worked out with WBA super middleweight king Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs). But the deal would have to be under Golovkin's terms and not dictated by Ward. Loeffler feels Golovkin has surpassed Ward as a ticket seller and in terms of name recognition - making GGG the A-side of the negotiations.

Then Ward said that he would consider a catchweight.

So it became, " Nobody at 154/160 can go 12 rounds with Golovkin "
                    http://www.mma-core.com/videos/Abel_...ht_us/10102303

Then Cotto/Canelo both insisted upon a catchweight.

So then it was, " Gennady Golovkin eyes unification at middleweight "
                    http://www.ibtimes.com.au/boxing-new...titles-1476074

                    Then Ward moved to LHW.

So apparently NOW it is, " Golovkin Will Go Anywhere To Face Carl Froch! "
WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) is still very interested in facing Carl Froch, according to the champion's head trainer Abel Sanchez. Froch (33-2, 24KOs) has been inactive since his big rematch win in May 2014, when he knocked out George Groves before a crowd of 80,000 fans.

                    WTF ??????????

When the Golovkin hype-train left the station, most fans were under the impression that GGG actually wanted to fight guys like Ward/Cotto/Canelo.

GGG is probably given a fixed purse and then Brook splits whatever revenue is left with Matchroom at a 80-20 split. So his purse depends mostly on the PPV buys.
