That team are tip-toeing through the tulips.
    1. Well that's kinda dumb. I'm pretty sure they said that probably over a year ago. If you want to hold GGG for something they said a few years ago, then I don't know what to tell you.

The issue right now isn't the weight. The weight isn't what's holding up the Canelo fight from happening right now.

Did it hold up the fight back then? Sure. But I clearly said there was no other legitimate opponent this September, meaning we are talking about RIGHT NOW.

    2. Saunders was still getting paid a career payday. Brook is a bigger name in the UK. Saunders probably isn't worth the same money and by all accounts. I could care less what Saunders gets paid to be honest and both could fight for $1 or $100 mil for all I care but business is an important part of boxing whether we like it or not and the fight obviously isn't going to happen if it's bad business for both sides. And yes, Saunders getting paid Kell Brook money is probably a bad business decision.

    3. Haven't heard how much money GGG's team offered Jacobs but there haven't really been significant discussions on both sides I think. GGG's team hoped they would fight Canelo this September so they probably didn't have any real discussion. They went from agreeing to have tune up bouts in April/May then fighting in Sept so not sure where in that timeframe GGG's team would have negotiated with Jacobs' team..

Golovkin SHOOTS DOWN Canelo At 155lbs! Says 160 Or NO FIGHT.....

Negotiations are underway for a fall showdown between middleweight champions Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs) and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (35-0, 32KOs). The World Boxing Council ordered the boxers to face each other in the fall and discussions between the two sides began a few days ago. They have a very short window to reach a deal, because WBC has set a purse bid date of May 24th in Mexico City.

Well you're a bit of an idiot aren't you.

The question was basic and simple to answer. Who can GGG fight RIGHT NOW at the 160 division that would be deemed acceptable. . That's the question I posed and the statement you tried (unsuccessfully) to rebuttal.

I never asked what GGG's faults have been the past few years NOR did I ask what did he do wrong in Canelo negotiations 1-2 years ago.

If you want to debate GGG's negotiations with Canelo, go create a thread and discuss there for all I care. Otherwise, if you're going to quote me, you better be damn sure you answer the question I posed (which I've bolded for you since you have trouble understanding).

                  e?
                  1. Kell Brook is a bigger draw and BJS. FACT. So if Brook generates more revenue than BJS but both were paid the same (same expenses), the profit would be different if Brook or Suanders were the opponent. Simple accounting.

                  2. Already said I could care less how much they get paid. Fighters could fight for $0.01 for all I care. But I'm not going to dismiss a significant reason fighters fight, which is money.

                  3. Never made any childish excuses. I said that BJS asked for money that was not in the interest of his promoter or K2. That's a fact. I'm not happy about it but that's how it is.

Why insist that Golovkin's next fight MUST be held at 160 when.....

                    a) they are fighting a welter, you genius
                    b) they ran with that "anyone from 154-168" line FOR FOUR YEARS
                    c) there are much better fights available than Brook, but YOU keep making/endorsing weak excuses to justify why your guy will not step up....

                    1) they should have negotiated on the weight with Canelo, like they promised

                    2) they shouldn't have lied about the offer to Saunders, they should have paid him what they are willing to pay Brook

                    3) they shouldn't have offered Jacobs " Quillin money "
