You are deluded. This fight will probably carried because people want to watch GGG. If he can pull a good crowd, he can be A side for his next fight. No matter how good Brook is, he is still irrelevant in UK which is why he has a tough time landing fights. The only reason he got a good deal was because GGG gave the deal to Eubank and wasn't willing to renegotiate again to failure plus they were desperate to get GGG in UK for quite a while iirc.

I would agree that Brook is miles better than Khan but that won't save him from what will probably be a one sided beat down hence the 7 to 1 odds against him. He will be a national hero but will he ever be as good a fighter if GGG puts a bad beating on him and destroys his confidence? I am assuming you are an Englishman because most US fans like myself don't give Eubank much chance to win. He is a good middleweight but GGG is the best middleweight. I agree it was his dad who killed the fight. His dad calls the shots. Young Eubank is probably fearless and would have taken the fight if it was up to him.

I am neither an Englishman or from US. But I still think both Brook and Eubank will put up a much better fight against GGG than his usual opponents. Eubank is a hard worker and his fight against Saunders was only lost due to inexperience. He seems to have learned his lessons and if he can carry his last 6 round showing against Saunders for all 12 rounds, he will be a formidable force in the ring.

This thread is so contradictory. Some people say Brook is not a household name, and now you say he is the reason why this event will be success. People are going because they want to see GGG, whether you like it or not. Hearn was dying to get GGG in UK and was pissed off at Eubank sr for messing up his plan. And he wanted GGG there because he knows how successful the event will be. I'd take a professional's view over this rather than yours.

Khan is worth £15 million quid (this was pre Canelo, so he is worth even more now). In the top 10 under 30's UK sports star rich list

Brook is still in the middle phase...there are plenty of fights on the horizon for Brook, as long as he is with the right team.


However, there is no shame in losing, but losing to Spence or Thurman doesnt come with a huge health risk.

Losing to Triple G comes with a huge health risk, he could be ruined for life, both physically and psychologically. This is not a Rocky movie, this is real life, weight classes should be respected.
