Jacobs and Lara claim they both want GG. Jacobs want $3-5 million. From where? From HBO? From K2? Hearn didn't have to wait for K2/HBO's offer. He made the offer. PBC/SHO can do the same thing if they wanted to.What does GGG get by fighting Lara or Jacobs? Lara is popular enough, neither a belt holder in MW. Jacobs gets like 400k viewers and isn't a big belt holder either. This is common sense. You either fight for belt, which BJS has, or you fight for money and popularity which big names bring. Lara and Jacobs are known by none and winning on them means nothing. Golovkin will probably not fight Jacobs until he can get 1 million viewers in free tv. Funnily enough Jacobs wants it on PPV. Laughable. These fighters want the money but they won't know where the money comes from.
I can't address your concern about Lara/Jacobs' inability to draw crowds. That's somebody else's concern. I'm just dispelling this myth that offers can only come from one source.Last edited by jqSide; 07-11-2016, 01:12 PM.Comment

And I'm saying that until they can get more than 500k viewers, even 1 million dollars is a lot for them. The fights aren't happening because they want $3-5m. The fights will end up getting tanked and most of the crowd will be from GGG who still does not have a large enough fanbase. So what is the next step for him? Build it. UK is a good place to start and Brook is a big name there. Eubank would have been better. Perhaps Eubank learns something and goes for GGG next or better yet BJS gets lured in because of the financial side of it. Clearly, this fight will sell like hot cake and the next GGG fight in UK will be even bigger for sure.Jacobs and Lara claim they both want GG. Jacobs want $3-5 million. From where? From HBO? From K2? Actually he loses millions of pounds and a KO loss to a big name in his resume. No doubt fear of a KO defeat kept Eubank from signing the contract. He would have agreed to this fight if it was against a fighter he thought his son could beat. His dad did Eubank a favor. Now the brave but foolish Brook will get the beat down Eubank would have received.Comment
