this is exactly what i been thinking, i like ggg as a fighter and even he seems like a cool guy as a person, i said in the past theres nothing really you can hate on the guy, is his fans and team that are anoying, but then ggg comes talking trash about canelo fighting a WW, disrepeck, businessman, and all that crap and then he comes and does exactly the same on his next fight and even goes as far as excusing the joke... i just saw a video where he was excusing the brook fight yesterday and then was asked about fighting canelo at 160 and the answer was " it has to be at 160", you drag a guy 13 lbs in a 2 month notice but arent willing to give up a single pound for the biggest fight of your career...

People that say this need to actually watch Sanders fight. I give Saunders a high ranking on the 160 landscape but he's no more technical than Canelo, has too low an output, and not enough power to beat Alvarez. Watch the last 6 rounds of Eubank/Saunders, where BJS can't seem to avoid Chris's telegraphed, leaping body hooks and uppercuts. Now tell me you think he's going to handle Canelo, who is far faster, stronger, and more clever in implementing body work. BJS is rugged enough to see the final bell but he's never beating Saul.

He'll be waiting for a minute, because Canelo has plenty of talented fighters (Andrade, J-Rock, Charlo Bros.) in the SWW division!

Canelo is going to toy with Saunders.

Saunders is vastly over-rated by many and has very real stamina problems. Canelo will outbox him, outhit him and generally control the fight.

If ever there's a case of jumping the gun then it's here. Canelo & B.J.S need to get 100% win's 1st, which isn't a foregone conclusion. (Where's Jacob's when you want him)!

Lara, who has made it clear on several occasions that he's more than willing to step up and face the hard-hitting Golovkin, was unimpressed with the fight announcement. "As far as I'm concerned, Canelo and Triple G are twin brothers," Lara explained during a brief conversation with FightHype.com. He added, "Typical business first and not old school throwback fighters."

Per PBC promoter - Lou DiBella, Lara/Golovkin has network issues.

And Lara should be concerned with a guy in his own division that's trying to fight him in Andrade.

Please, no need to worry about Canelo being outboxed. He's been outboxed and out landed multiple times and still wins lopsided decisions.

I would put good money o Saunders beating Canelo. Not sure he gets the decision though.

I hope those 2 do meet this year! That's the kind of match-ups we need, and not GGG vs. Brook. If Amir Khan can fight Canelo on HBO, then I think we should be able to get GGG vs. Lara, but I can see HBO saying NO, because they effectively froze out Rigo after he schooled Donaire. It's evident from Lampley, that HBO does not respect Lara or Rigo's style of boxing.

I hate Golovkin/Brook and I would love Andrade/Lara, the ball is in Lara's court to make the Andrade fight. Artie Peullo is trying to make the fight working with Showtime.

As for HBO blocking Golovkin/Lara, I don't believe it. I think they would love it b/c they believe Golovkin would beat Lara badly (just based on how Lara looked vs Vanes) and they could use that fight to compare/build the Canelo fight.

I think Showtime is the problem. Espinoza has been very vocal lately about Golovkin, giving multiple interviews on how he wants to do a joint network deal for Golovkin/Jacobs. It's my belief that Showtime/Espinoza simply don't want to give HBO a big name opponent for Golovkin.
