Bradley is number one in my book and Brook is a decent number 2, however the reality is, it's a clear field beneath Bradley at the moment. Khan, Brook, Porter, Thurman, Garcia all need to fight each other.

I hate to say that too as I like Brook, but his welterweight resume has 1 decent win. Just 1, and that was 2 years ago . If one decent win can ride out for so long we should of crowned Floyd king after Corrales, he didn't even have to fight again

Brook may only have 1 great win, but the unfortunate fact is, that win is better than any other win that any other welterweight at the moment has.

You can compare performances, nothing wrong with that, but you have to also look at resumes and Thurman's is better than Brooks at welterweight (which is saying a lot because Thurman's WW resume isn't even good). I'll hold Brook to the same standards as every other welterweight, they have to fight and beat each other to establish a number 1 guy

As for Brook vs Thurman, performances against a common opponents tell us much more about fighters than their resumes. Brook gave Porter a boxing lesson, Thurman struggled in a fight many felt he lost. If you can't see the difference in skill then you clearly have no clue about the sport. Learn some boxing before you try to come off as some old-timer dude.

Brook beat Porter, the #3 guy in the division after Brook and Thurman. He handled the same opponent much more skillfully than Thurman. Spence is still just coming up and Garcia is average.

The best don't always get to fight the best in this sport, and when that happens, we go by what we have seen.

So again I ask you, who at WW do you think can beat Brook? You can't give an answer yet you want to b!tch like a baby when I say I think Brook is #1? Fk out of here dude.

I keep hearing Triple G apologists say that Golovkin is fighting the best welterweight? When exactly did Brook become the best welterweight? When did he beat Spence, Thurman, Garcia, Khan, Bradley, Broner, or even the old fellas like May and Pac? But lets actually breakdown your idiotic post since I'm feeling generous today. First of all, Matthyse did have several loses where he was out-boxed, while Brook is an actual undefeated fighter who has never been out-boxed, ever. Does your ****** ass not understand the difference?

Second Broner never proved himself against anyone as good as Porter before making the jump to Welter. Third, Price was known to have a glass-chin since his amateur days, while Brook has proven his chin is solid.

So next time you want to come off as a smart guy by drawing ridiculous comparisons, you might want to actually think before you post, so you don't sound like an absolute moron.

I think many on here rate him there or there abouts. As in the search function i found two polls/threads on the subject; and most people had him in their top 2. He was ranked number one in the poll thread.

These threads were from before the GGG fight was announced, so had no bearing on the posts at the time.
