You can't see that Brook schooled Porter much better than Thurman did? That was beautiful boxing. And you call yourself a boxing fan? As for Danny Garcia he is an average fighter who will never be elite.
Bring up a WW you think is better than Brook.
You can't.
Brook beating Porter better than Thurman beat Porter doesnt mean ****!! You sound like a Pac fan yelling that Manny beat Oscar worse than Floyd therefore he beats Floyd. You knew that wasn't going to happen so I see no reason why you applying that same flawed logic to Brook and Thurman.

But then again, that's what "fans" do
Brook showed elite timing in that fight, manhandled Porter and schooled Porter in his own backyard, all things that Thurman or any other WW could never do. Porter is way faster and more elusive than Golovkin. You clearly don't know sht about the technical aspect of boxing.
Brook has the skills to give GG nightmares if he can just handle the size, which i think he will.

Okay you trolling, silly me, should of known better
Yes anything can happen, but all signs point to a GGG win
Like you said, this is all about the money
Nobody can knock Brook for taking it.
For a year and a half i have stated on here that Brook was frustrated how his career was going. He was desperate for the Khan fight, he wanted to be center stage and earn millions.
This is what happens when a fighter is desperate for a payday and limelight.
Can't handle the facts so you accuse me of trolling.
Brook is #1 Welterweight on the planet as of today, period.
What facts? All you stated was your opinion. Brook isn't the top welterweight, nobody is. You have to actually beat the other top welterweights to earn that title, which nobody at welterweight has done. You just want him to be it because of personal bias coupled with a win he had over 2 years ago, which is pathetic.
These other guys in here are talking sense, while you are sounding like a fanboy

What a ****** post, Floyd never beat Brook/Thurman/Garcia either so by your logic he wasn't the best Welterweight when he was active?
Just because Brook didn't fight every other welterweight out there doesn't mean you can't compare their performances, see the obvious, and come to conclusions, that's what boxing discussions are for you dimwit. People like me who have actually boxed know what they are looking at, Brook is clearly the best at 147 and would be favored over anyone.
And khantards and f10mos such as yourself don't "talk sense", you're all insecure as fk and don't want any event surpassing or outshining your favorite fighters, that's why you hate on brook vs golovkin and try to discredit them.
Then why have rules at all, why have weight classes at all...cause according to you the only rule is grown man.
Whatever brah. Now you're just being facetious - we're not talking about two guys who are actually going to be 13lbs apart in the ring, and even if we were I'm guessing you've not been up in arms about HW fights where the proportional weight difference could be far greater or the common 25lb move from LHW to CW. You're acting like Kell is the first guy to move up 13lbs. Happens in the ams all the time and in the pros too before the introduction of the intermediary weightclasses.
Yes, Kell is unproven beyond 147 and I agree that he'd be much better served trying out at 154 first, and yes I think it's a **** fight, but there's no reason it should be illegal under current rules. If you think that should change, fair enough, maybe you should start a Twitter campaign.
EDIT. For what it's worth I could agree that pro boxing should maybe take a leaf out of Amateur boxings safety approach and have a minimum weigh-in weight though - equal to the upper limit of the class below the weight at which a fight takes place. Also I'm in favour of the IBFs maximum rehydration limit of 10lbs, though myself I'd make it 5% of the class weight limit - or preferably have same day weigh-ins, although ofc that opens a whole new can of worms.

I swear you can't speak sense to ******ed fanboys so bear with me as I teach you something about a sport you claim to participate in(as if saying "Hey i boxed before" on an internet forum gives you credibility). Let's start with your first ******ed paragraph:
Floyd actually fought and beat guys in the top of the division. He didn't get one decent win and go on two years of fighting Frankie Gavins and JoJo Dans. What's sad is his win over an older Mosley is better than anything on Brooks resume. How sad is that? I hate to say that too as I like Brook, but his welterweight resume has 1 decent win. Just 1, and that was 2 years ago . If one decent win can ride out for so long we should of crowned Floyd king after Corrales, he didn't even have to fight again
That's not to say Brook isn't good, but he has done absolutely nothing since winning his title. You can compare performances, nothing wrong with that, but you have to also look at resumes and Thurman's is better than Brooks at welterweight (which is saying a lot because Thurman's WW resume isn't even good). I'll hold Brook to the same standards as every other welterweight, they have to fight and beat each other to establish a number 1 guy
You look weak resorting to name calling when your OPINION is challenged man. This is a grown up discussion. If you can't keep your man love for Brook and feelings in check then talk to someone else. Khantard and *****, what are you 12? I'm a boxing fan, you on the other hand seem to be a fan of a particular boxer.
I don't know what's funnier, your man love for a boxer or the fact you think it's absurd that top fighters have to fight and beat top fighters in their division to be considered the best
