Both have fought at 147 and above. Canelo has fought at 155 thrice I believe, Brook once or twice.

Both have faced Matthew Hatton as the only common opponent.

Hatton said Brook hit harder and had better skills - But he only fought a green and young Canelo.

    Tell me your thoughts,
Hatton was giving away a lot of weight to Canelo doe. Canelo had to pay a fine to Hatton for missing the weight limit for the fight.

No. A mismatch has a predictable outcome. Canelo will obviously be the favorite but I don't think it's easy to predict how the fight will play out like Khan/Canelo and GGG/Brook.

Without a rehydration clause, and at 155 above yes

Canelo comes into the ring heavier than G

but at 154 with some clause in place, no...

        Brook will still lose though

            I agree.

I'm im no way defending Canelo's shameless duck of GGG, and he did, but it shows a bit of double standards on this forum with regards to the GGG vs Canelo fight.

Canelo is a better boxer than Brook

It'll be the same outcome as Khan vs Brook, but will probably happen within the first 3 rounds because Brook doesnt have the movement, the feet to keep Canelo at bay.

Brook also doesn't have the best defense, he is no Floyd.

Brook's asset has always been his size advantage over his fellow WW's, he is nothing without it

Canelo would destroy Brook. He wouldn't even be able to hang on and survive knowing the judges are gonna score it his way like he did with club fighter jones.

As for Porter he needed the judges help to even get a draw against Diaz and has shown less power on the world stage than Alexander.

His best win Devon was considered a cherry pick for another fighter.

Broner another huge win for Porter barely won if that against a shot to **** Paulie.

The way Porter gets hyped on here you'd think hes some sort of atg hes barely above average.

Brook has improved tremendously over the last 9/10 years!

Re the Porter fight, Porter was dangerous with his head throughout the fight and it looked like a deliberate, calculated tactic. Brook did what he had to do to avoid being roughed up and cut by Porters' head, and he did it well.

You could say exactly the same thing about Canelo at SMW, only more so.

                      Regardless

Canelo is a better boxer than Brook, he is a more complete fighter.

Canelo's biggest weakness is his footwork, but that really won't matter against Brook.

Brook is not a complete fighter, no inside game, no body work. He's a head hunter. He gets caught very easily, especially by the right hand.

This prime version of Canelo will hurt him bad...

Like i said Brook is limited without his size advantage
