I think Jacobs vs GGG is a better fight. Hell, Andrade or the Charlo brothers would probably also be a better fight with GGG.

But really, GGG needs to fight guys in the SMW division now I think
I agree and I've said it many times, I simply don't see Golovkin - Canelo as a very intriguing match-up, Canelo is solid and pretty good at what he does but stylistically I can't see it presenting problems for Golovkin. For me BJS actually makes the more toughest fight at MW for Golovkin though I'd give Jacobs a slightly higher chance of actually getting the W cos - well, he can punch a bit.

And yeah, don't really hold it against GGG for hanging around, but as a fan of competitive fights I'd much rather he started looking Northwards.

But doesn't this also mean we have double standards when it comes to Canelo vs GGG? It's similar to the whole pac/may/jmm situation. People didn't hate on Pac/jmm but they hated on may/jmm but demanded may/pac.

      I find that interesting.
People did hate on Pac/Marquez 3 because of what we saw against Mayweather. People assumed based on that fight that Marquez was too small for welterweight. And they were right, he just happens to be kryptonite for Pacquiao.

Golovkin/Canelo is competitive for the same reason Canelo/Brook is competitive; in both cases the smaller fighter is close enough in size that his skills and the style clash should make for a competitive fight. Brook is not only too small for Golovkin, the style clash favors the bigger man as well. Just like Alvarez/Khan, where Khan really had no functional advantage, neither will Brook against GGG.
